The Top 5 Muscle Building Mistakes To Avoid

The Top 5 Muscle Building Mistakes To Avoid
Number 5 - Not Monitoring Your Progress:

So many people just go through the motions with their
workouts. They get into the habit of showing up at the gym
day after day and mindlessly go through their routine. How
many people do you see at the gym with no written plan and
no way to keep score to tell if they are making progress?

For a lot of these people going to the gym just becomes a
part of their social life. Now I agree that this habit is a
lot healthier then hanging out at the local pub. But the
time you spend in the gym could be a lot more productive
and result in building a lot more muscle.

What gets measured gets improved. All it takes is little
bit of time planning out where you want to go and then
create a plan of action on how you are going to get there.
Or get an experienced coach to help you create an action
plan. The old saying "failing to plan, is planning to fail"
is often overused, but it is 100% accurate, especially when
it comes to bodybuilding.

===

Number 4 - Performing Too Much Exercise: Overtraining

Working out too much is just as detrimental to building
muscle as doing nothing at all. Once you workout you have
to give your body time to repair and grow through rest. A
common mistake that people make is thinking that they will
get better results if they workout for several hours
everyday. This is not true because what happens is the body
get stressed and damaged but doesn't get a chance to
recover and build up. This is what is called "over
training". When you over train your body can't build muscle.

Common signs of over-training include pain and joint
injuries, insomnia, prolonged fatigue, lack of motivation
to workout, and just feeling burnt out and exhausted.
Taking time to rest and recover are vital for achieving
long term consistent muscle and strength gains.

===

Number 3 - Performing Too Little Exercise: Undertraining

This one is the opposite of the previous one, people tend
to take things to one extreme or the other, no one wants to
take a moderate approach. Just like some people will think
that if some exercise is good, then more must be better.
And end up "overtraining". Others, who have learned about
the negatives of overtraining, have taken it to the other
extreme thinking that "if some rest is good, then more rest
is better".

The fitness media will always play on people's laziness and
therefore try to promote "easy workouts" as the answer to
getting in shape. But the reality is that working out and
getting in shape takes effort. There is just no way around
it. Anyone who try's to tell you otherwise is just full of
BS...

===

Number 2 - Thinking You Need Supplements To Build Muscle:

The magazines are the ones to blame for this. In a typical
muscle magazine over 50% of the pages are ads (in some
cases it's a lot more). And a lot of the articles are just
fancy sales letters recommending muscle building and fat
burning supplements.

The truth is supplements are NOT necessary to build a lean
muscular physique. Exercise and nutrition are the only
things you REALLY need. There are some supplements can help
a little, but not nearly as much as you may have been lead
to believe. About 95% of your results will come from proper
training and nutrition.

A lot of people have their priorities backwards and spend
their time worrying about what supplements to take, rather
then focusing on improving their training and eating, which
is responsible for 95% of their progress.

It is very common for the typical novice bodybuilder, who
has just started working out, to immediately go looking for
a 'short cut' by getting a bottle of "Super Duper Anabolic
Muscle Dust 2000".

It's a shame that so many people are looking for instant
gratification, instead of making the effort to learn how to
eat and train better. Get your nutrition and training in
order first. Then you can experiment with supplements, if
you want to, and see if they make any difference to your
overall progress.

===

Number 1 - Not Following A Sound Nutrition Plan:

Your diet is one of the most critical aspects of your
muscle building routine. You can be spot on with your
workouts, but if you don't fuel your body properly you will
NOT get the results you want. Most bodybuilders that I work
with day to day don't have any problems going to the gym
and working out. But more often then not they get slack
when it comes to nutrition.

The whole idea of eating 6 well-balanced meals per day for
bodybuilding is by no means a new concept. You probably
already have a good idea of how you should be eating. But
the main excuse is usually not having time to eat properly.
However, eating a "junk-food" diet takes just as much or
more time then it does to eat a healthy diet. At lunch
heading over to the fast food joint, waiting in line at the
drive through, and then heading back to work takes a lot
more time then if you had your food prepared in advance and
ready to eat.

The key to following a healthy bodybuilding nutrition
program is planning ahead. When you cook your food always
prepare for several meals. It doesn't take any more time to
cook larger quantities of food then it does to cook smaller
amounts of food for just one meal. Purposely plan to have
left overs that you can re-heat in the microwave, this
saves time and makes it easier to have quick nutritious
meals on hand.

The Triad of Health

The Triad of Health
What is health?

Dorland's Medical Dictionary defines health as a "state of
optimal physical, mental and social well-being and not
merely the absence of disease and infirmity."

Our bodies are wired for health and vitality, not for
illness and disease. Health is how our bodies function,
not how they feel. Health comes from the inside out. And,
importantly, the choices we make play a part in our health
and well-being.

There are three components that make up the Triad of
Health. They are Structural, Chemical and Emotional.
Combined, they present an overall state of a person's
health.

Structure is the foundation of the human body and the
Triad. It includes the bones, muscles, joints, ligaments,
tendons, cartilage and nerves. Shifts in structural
alignment result from accidents, physical inactivity, or
incorrect patterns of movement that have developed over
time. Misalignments, also called subluxations, of the spine
put pressure on the nerves that lead from the spinal column
to the organs, glands, muscles, and other bones in our
body, creating dysfunction.

The Chemical make-up and balance of the body includes diet
and vitamins and mineral intake, as well as the function of
organs and organ systems. The chemical aspect is disrupted
by the ingestion of nicotine, alcohol, caffeine, sugar, and
sugar substitutes like aspartame, as well as toxins in the
air we breathe. Toxicity from food has a cumulative effect.
Refined foods, fast foods, and high-tech processed foods
have a negative impact on the health of the person
consuming them.

Emotion is the third leg of the triangle. Not only does
physical well-being impact emotions, but emotions can
greatly impact the body, both positively and negatively.
The emotional element of the triangle includes the feelings
of fear, anger, guilt, depression and anxiety. Emotional
stress in the form of negative thoughts can have painful
consequences.

The sides of the equilateral triangle all affect and
interrelate with one other. For example, being in a
constant state of the emotion of fear may cause a muscle
spasm or contraction in the back. The muscle spasm creates
pain which affects more than just the back. The pain
influences the food choices made, leaning more toward
"comfort" foods, rather than healthy foods.
Food choices affect the body's chemistry in terms of
nutritional deficiencies.

Every cell in your body is both structurally and
functionally related to every other cell in your body. All
your thoughts, beliefs, fears, and dreams are connected
within the structure and function of your physical body. By
discovering and integrating these relationships, you allow
yourself to bring greater harmony into your body and mind,
diminishing internal conflicts and increasing your overall
health and well-being!

How A Spa Can Be The Next Step In Your Fitness Plan

How A Spa Can Be The Next Step In Your Fitness Plan
A spa in is a great form of body recovery and relaxation
after an intense, or even a mild, workout. There are many
advantages to taking the time out of your day to enjoy a
spa visit after a quality workout session.

Due to this fact, many exercise and fitness centers now
feature a spa center as these companies realize the
advantages of relaxing in a spa after exercise is completed.

The Benefits Of A Spa After A Workout

The benefits of resting in a spa after you finish your
workout are incredible to say the least. The most obvious
benefit is that the Spa water will cleanse the body of
dirt, sweat, and other undesired materials after exercise.

Since the body will eventually need to be cleaned after a
workout, it is best to enjoy the additional benefits of a
spa to increase the experience of optimal fitness. Another
healthy benefit of using a spa is that the water will
provide beneficiary for the skin.

Especially for those who are exposed to the elements on a
regular basis, the healing power of a spa will do wonders
for mistreated skin. Yet another advantage of relaxing in a
spa is that you will experience the wonders of
Hydrotherapy, which is a form of therapy that uses water to
treat bodily disease and other forms of pain.

Hydrotherapy And Spa's

Hydrotherapy is a benefit of the spa system that most spa
users have no knowledge of. Hydrotherapy has been practiced
by virtually every civilization in history, from the
Egyptians to the citizens of today.

While Hydrotherapy is intended to be used as a form of
medical treatment for those that suffer from
musculoskeletal illnesses (ex: arthritis), it is useful for
those who have recently completed a workout session.

As the muscles tend to cramp after an intense workout, the
effects of the spa will ease your body, allowing you to
think about more important aspects of your life.
Hydrotherapy will improve your quality of fitness as it
will work to relieve your body of many toxins, such as the
buildup of stress, that are created during exercise.

Relaxing Your Life With A Spa

The main purpose of the spa is to relax the body and mind.
The spa improves the body of those who have not exercised
prior to arriving so the positive effects for those
individuals who have participated in a workout before
entering a spa are simply amazing.

There is no real purpose in participating in a workout
regiment if you are not going to enjoy the end results. If
you only work your body without rewarding your body for the
hard work that it has completed, your body will not reward
you with good fitness and health. It is vital for you to
allow your body to recover after a workout so that you can
mentally recover and prepare for the rest of your daily
activities and for your upcoming workout. The spa is more
than sufficient of a reward for the work your body has put
in during an exercise session.

Try Out A Spa

With all of the benefits that can come out of a visit to
the spa after a hard workout, you should definably schedule
a visit. Schedule the visit on a day that will allow you to
fully enjoy the effects of the spa without worrying about
another scheduled event (ex: schedule a spa date after a
workout on a day that you are out of work and have no plans
after the workout).

If your local fitness center does not feature a spa, you
should browse through your phone book for a recreational
spa location close to your residence.

HGH and Bodyweight Training

HGH and Bodyweight Training
How would you like to build some lean muscles, lose some
body fat and look younger in the same process? It does
sound a bit far-fetched but there are people who claimed to
have successfully done that with the help of the human
growth hormone in their body. Human growth hormone or HGH
as it is also known has been used by bodybuilders for a few
years now.

Bodybuilders use human growth hormone supplements to help
them with their muscles building and body building. But
little do they know they might be putting their life in
danger.

Human growth hormone is a type of hormone that is produced
by our pituitary gland in our brain. This can help us with
our growth especially in height and in our muscles. But
unfortunately as we grow older, the production of this
human growth hormone will decrease. This is why sports
persons especially body builders use human growth hormone
as a supplement to help enhance their performances.

Taking human growth hormone as a supplement to body
building is illegal. The drugs have never been approved by
the FDA and to sell and buy theses human growth hormone
supplements are considered as illegal activities. Even so,
there are those who have no care for the law and these
supplements are readily available over the Internet.

Even though these human growth hormone supplements are not
approved by the FDA and is considered illegal at large, the
fact that human growth hormone can help these bodybuilders
stands. But instead of taking artificial supplements, these
bodybuilders can opt to increase their level of human
growth hormone naturally.

The best way to increase your human growth hormone level is
to exercise. But it is not just any exercise, a short but
intense body workout. Research has also concluded that a
short sprint or a hill sprint can help boost your human
growth hormone level. Combine these intense exercises with
a good night sleep and food that can stabilize the sugar in
your blood, can help pushes the body to release more human
growth hormone.

As you get more in shape, your body will still produce the
human growth hormone even after you've decided to stop
exercising. If you don't believe this, you can take a look
at the difference between a sprint runner and a long
distance runner. A sprint runner will have a lean and more
muscular body while the long distance runner is usually
thin and have less muscle.

If you are in doubt, you can always try this simple and
basic work out. It does not take much time and you will
feel great after the work out. You won't need any
equipment, just a place to train and some of your time.

First, find a place for your workout, a place that you can
run for about 15 to 20 minutes. Places like soccer fields
or running tracks would be perfect. At the field, sprint
for 15 to 20 seconds, then drop down to do 10 vigorous push
ups and if possible 10 mountain climbers. After that short
exercise, walk for 15 to 20 seconds around the field to
cool down. Repeat the process for 15 to 20 minutes.

Do this short exercise continuously for a period of time,
and you will feel and look great in no time!

Chronic Fatigue- What Exactly is Chronic Fatigue

Chronic Fatigue- What Exactly is Chronic Fatigue
Chances are you have heard of Chronic Fatigue but like most
people, understanding this condition can be a bit
confusing. Over the years, information about Chronic
Fatigue has increased with a number of efforts made to
educate the public about something very debilitating.
Since 1994, experts researching Chronic Fatigue Syndrome
have worked hard to define the symptoms so a proper
diagnosis would be possible.

The results from years of research include two firm
criteria for having Chronic Fatigue.

1.The individual would have for or more of the defined
symptoms, which include, difficulty with concentration,
sore lymph nodes, joint and muscle pain, swelling within
the joints, headache, problems sleeping, sore throat, and
fatigue after any type of physical exertion lasting 24
hours or more.

2.A person would have severe symptoms for a minimum of six
months, coupled with other diagnoses medical conditions.

The key in diagnosing Chronic Fatigue Syndrome is that
symptoms have to be recurring for six months or longer.
Fatigue with this condition is far beyond the normal
feeling of being tired that most people experience. With
Chronic Fatigue, the level of fatigue is almost
unexplainable, as if a wash has come over the person making
normal function difficult, if not impossible. In addition
to the abovementioned symptoms, people living with Chronic
Fatigue have reported several other symptoms. For example,
intolerance to alcohol consumption, diarrhea, nausea,
dizziness, and night sweats are just a few. Additionally,
a large number of people suffer from some level of
depression simply because the syndrome is so consuming.

Current statistics tell us that approximately one million
people in the United States alone struggle with the
symptoms associated with Chronic Fatigue. Unfortunately,
the number of occurrences is well beyond that of ovarian or
lung cancer and MS. Because the numbers continue to rise,
significant money has been poured into research to better
understand Chronic Fatigue so a cure can be found. Even
so, the number of women with Chronic Fatigue is four times
greater than with men. In addition, for some reason, this
syndrome strikes individuals in their 40s and 50s. While
some cases of Chronic Fatigue have been confirmed in
children, it is rare although teenagers are at higher risk
than the younger children are.

You will also discover that Chronic Fatigue Syndrome does
not care about race or ethics, hitting all groups much the
same with the exception that the Hispanic and African
American populations have the lowest number of diagnosed
cases. Interestingly, it is relatively common for more
than one member of a family to develop Chronic Fatigue,
leading some researchers to think some type of genetic link
may factor in. Although tremendous research is still
needed to fully understand this condition, we have seen
some remarkable advances over the years, providing hope
that in the near future, a cure could be developed.

If you suffer from any of the symptoms noted and have
concern that you might be living with Chronic Fatigue
Syndrome, it is vital that you talk to your doctor for a
confirmed diagnosis. Although frustrating, with medical
help, you can find relief to live a more normal life.
Rather than just deal with the symptoms associated with
this condition, you need to take action so you can regain
control over your life.

Things You Should Know About A Body Detox Plan

Things You Should Know About A Body Detox Plan
A body detox plan is not only a good method of losing
weight, but an excellent way to rid your body of toxins as
well. These toxins are substances that are harmful to the
body and which have accumulated over a long period of time.
If losing weight has ever been a problem for you, you might
want to consider implementing a body detox plan. The
biggest advantage to be derived from doing so would be the
twin benefits of weight loss as well as a cleaner, more
active system. Modern body detox plans include some of the
latest techniques recommended by healthcare professionals
worldwide to help people stay healthy and fit.

Exposure to pollution in the environment and impurities in
food and water is taking a toll on our health on a daily
basis, so a full body detox plan would be the perfect step
to take to flush out the harmful toxins, and lose weight in
the bargain! You'll also have to implement other natural
remedies alongside your body detox plan: relaxation and
stress-busting techniques will help, as well as exercises
which get your muscles moving!

However, even though a body detox program may sound
relatively easy to put yourself through, there are certain
precautions you should keep in mind before you begin your
body detox plan. These are:-

a) Be aware of side effects! You may experience headaches,
fatigue or skin problems while undergoing a body detox
plan. But you need not be alarmed as they should not
persist for long.

b) Consult your physician before undertaking a body detox
plan and make sure it's safe for you. It's only wise to do
so as you may not be aware of certain underlying medical
conditions that may be worsened due to changes brought
about as a result of following a body detox program.

c) DO NOT stop any medication you might be on to implement
a body detox plan. This method cleanses, it doesn't cure
any health problems you might be facing.

d) DO NOT undertake a body detox plan if you're suffering
from any major disease like heart problems or cancer.

e) It's best if you don't undertake such a plan if you're
in an important stage of your life and are likely to be
undergoing large amounts of stress.

f) Try taking a vacation for the duration of your body
detox plan, especially if you work in such an area where it
might have a negative impact on the benefits of such a plan.

During your body detox plan, you will be advised to stay
away from sugar, dairy products, starchy foods, foods with
preservatives and certain cereals. On your menu will be
plenty of water, of course, rice, fish, fruits and
vegetables and maybe even herbal teas. That's the best part
about body detox plans; there are a number of food options
available that you can enjoy!

So treat your body to a proper detox plan, and you'll soon
be able to see and feel its results for yourself!

Why You Need Politically Incorrect Workouts to Lose Weight

Why You Need Politically Incorrect Workouts to Lose Weight
You know who is your worst enemy in the fight against fat?

Well-meaning, politically correct, fitness professionals
that don't want to make you feel bad for being lazy and
eating crap. That's who.

They write articles about how "diets are bad", how you can
lift soup cans and get fitness model arms, and how you
should exercise in the nice and easy "fat burning zone" to
get results.

Basically, they give you what want to hear - plenty of
excuses for avoiding hard exercise and strict nutrition
(the real keys to fat loss).

But I don't. You'll get no such excuses from me.

Here's the real deal on fat loss. You have to work hard in
your workouts and even harder on your nutrition if you want
results. Or you can take the politically-correct easy way
out and have the same body in 3, 6, and even 12 months from
now.

Love me or hate me, I promise you results. Let's take a
look at why the PC-solutions don't work...

Q: I've been told to exercise in my "fat burning zone".
What's the best cardio method for weight loss?

Answer: Cardio is not the only solution.

Clearly it adds to the energy deficit and overall calorie
balance that favors fat loss.

BUT it's not the "end all & be all" of fat loss success -
and that is anecdotally supported by the number of
overweight distance runners.

I almost never recommend long, slow cardio...simply because
no one I train or consult with has the time for this, and
it doesn't work any better than shorter, less frequent,
more intense interval training sessions.

Five or six days of 45-minute cardio sessions in my
fat-burning zone? Yeah right, like anyone has time for that.

If I told you that you could get the same results (or
better, as recent research suggests) in three 20-minute
interval sessions each week as you could from three or five
45-minute slower cardio sessions each week, which would you
choose?

Yes, intervals feel about 10x's harder than regular, slow,
boring cardio. And yes, you won't be able to read your
people magazine when doing intervals. And you might breath
a little heavy. So if you're worried about sweating, than
maybe fat loss isn't for you.

But if you don't mind going against the crowd, intervals
are worth every second for the superior results.

Q: Should men and women train differently for fat loss?

Answer: Nope. Next question.

Seriously, the answer is no, but just to add to that, men
and women don't have that many differences when it comes to
fat loss, so they both do well with the fat burning
interval-style workouts.

Now here's one reason why intervals may actually work
better for women than men...

More women tend to start interval training after having
spent months or years using slow cardio and light (if any)
weights.

And I could not be any happier - because when these
dedicated women start using the shorter, more intense
strength and interval sessions they make rapid progress and
make me look like a genius.

The accolades come pouring in...I have many testimonials
from women thanking me for saving them TIME while helping
them finally breakthrough stubborn fat loss plateaus (and
eliminating the pain from their overuse injuries that
occurred due to high volumes of cardio).

Their words make me feel like a million bucks because the
interval cardio workouts are making these women feel like a
million bucks.

That being said, I sometimes make small changes in the
resistance workouts to adapt to a woman's pre-conceived
notions about strength training.

Some women are very hesitant to lift weights. But you and I
know that is necessary for bodysculpting, fat loss, and
health benefits such as building bones.

So what I do is sub a few (not all!) of the weight
exercises out and replace them with equal intensity
bodyweight exercises. Some bodyweight exercises can be
classified as traditional strength exercises (i.e. for a
woman that can only do 5 full pushups, the pushup exercise
is almost a max strength exercise).

But women "mentally" deal with this type of strength
training better than putting a dumbbell in their hands.

On the other hand, some bodyweight exercises provide more
of an interval training effect (i.e. bodyweight squats).

Either way, bodyweight exercises can put turbulence (i.e.
"stress") on the muscle and boost metabolism and help
female clients get the results they want and deserve.

Q: What differentiates strength and interval training from
other programs?

Answer: That's a tough question to answer, as there are
other systems out there that give impressive results in an
acceptable time frame.

I will say this however, I am extremely dedicated to the
entire "fat loss" cause.

One of the factors behind my dedication is that I find the
general concept of fat loss to be so simple, and yet
millions and millions of people around the world have an
incredibly difficult time achieving their goals.

I want to give them every possible resource available to
them to help them succeed.

So I am constantly tinkering with new workouts, exercises,
and interval methods, and interviewing other trainers and
nutritional experts for every single little fat burning
advantage I can find.

I said in a past article that "Fat loss is easy, once you
realize how hard it is." You have to respect that it's not
something you put on "auto-pilot".

Taking the stairs at work instead of the elevator, parking
100 extra feet away from the door, and subbing 1% milk for
2% milk is not going to help you lose 13 pounds of fat in a
year like the politically correct articles suggest.

You need a politically-incorrect plan to eat right 90% of
the time (i.e. saying "no" when an office-mate brings in
doughnuts) and you have to have the best workout plan
available to you if you want to get the most results in the
least amount of time.

And then you still have to have a plan to help you stick to
those plans - and that should involve a social support
group. There are many tricks and tips to success, so you
always have to keep learning and trying to improve.

The LifeStyle Lift - Many Names For The Same Procedure

The LifeStyle Lift - Many Names For The Same Procedure
My office often gets asked if we perform the 'LifeStyle
Lift', 'S-Lift', and a variety of other names that end in
-lift. The callers and patients don't know, of course, that
all these names really refer to the same procedure,
otherwise known as a limited facelift. Their interest is
peaked by the allure of improvement in sagging jowls or
loose neck skin but without the downtime of a full facelift.

The confusion about this procedure stems from general
misconceptions about what an actual facelift is. Most
patients envision a facelift as a procedure that starts at
the top of the head and ends somewhere below the neck.
Visions of weeks of seclusion, obscene facial swelling and
bruising, and ruinous financial strain make many patients
feel that they definitely don't want a facelift. They don't
understand that a facelift is really a misnamed procedure.
A better name which more accurately describes what it
is....is a necklift or a jowl-necklift. A facelift, in
isolation, does very little above the jawline or for most
of the face. It is a procedure that changes the neck and
jowl line only. Many patients will have other facial
procedures done in conjunction with a facelift, such as the
brow, eyes, nose, cheeks, or lips (often referred to as
total facial rejuvenation) but these do not constitute a
facelift. As a stand-alone procedure, a facelift is really
about the neck and jowls and creating a sharper neck angle
and a clean jowl line again.

Therefore, a limited facelift is a scaled down version of
the full facelift. It has gotten, for a variety of
marketing purposes, many catchy names as previously
mentioned. Some plastic surgeons even put their own name on
it. But, in the end, there are all the same procedure. A
limited facelift is.....limited. Meaning the length of the
incisions used (in front of the ear), how much skin is
undermined and removed, and the amount of subsequent after
surgery care and recovery is much less than a full
facelift. And an important concept to grasp here is....the
result is also less than that of a full facelift. For this
reason, the best candidates for a limited facelift is
someone younger who has minimal jowling and loose neck skin
or someone older, who really needs a full facelift, but
prefers a smaller procedure for any number of reasons.

I have found that one-half of the facelifts I do today are
of the limited variety. They are very popular due to their
quick recovery, lack of pain, and minimal swelling and
bruising. They are a great stopgap measure that will
substantially delay the need for a facelift is some
patients and may, in others, potentiallhy eliminate the
long-term need for a full facelift. Whe combined with other
small face procedures, such as eye tucks and peels, they
really make a nice change with no chance of getting that
'operated look.'

Discover 4 Quality Benefits Of An Effective Colon Cleanser
People today are using an effective colon cleanser to

Colon Hydrotherapy has gained increasing prominence here

today are shying away from invasive procedures. They are
searching for non-invasive procedures. Invasive or
non-invasive, it really is a matter of personal choice.
This article will discuss four practical benefits you can
achieve using an effective colon cleanser.

Colon Hydrotherapist's Use Discretion

Unfortunately, many people attempt to perform medical
treatments on themselves. However, it is always best to
call in the professionals. Listen closely, the nature of a
colon cleanse is private, agreed? Discretion is vitally
important to this type of work. If you choose to use the
services of a trained colon hydrotherapist, you have made a
good choice. They realize that they are dealing with a very
sensitive area of your body.

Your Colon And Your Exercise Regimen

In a recent study, a group of highly active men were pitted
against their inactive counterparts. This study occurred
over an extended period of time. The colon cancer risk for
the highly active men plummeted by a whopping 45 to 80
percent.

Conversely, their less active counterparts were exposed to
five times the increased risk of colon cancer. Other
separate studies have indicated that lack of exercise
increases colon cancer risk. Moreover, studies have also
shown that physical activity actually helps protect against
certain cancers.

Your Colon And Alcohol

The World Health Organization has adopted the stance of
total alcohol abstinence. They have wisely aligned
themselves with numerous scientists, physicians and health
professionals. Alcohol consumption immediately impacts your
intestinal systems in a negative way.

The results can be:

1. cirrhosis of the liver

2. gastroesophageal reflux disease

3. acute pancreatitis

4. colon cancer

5. peptic ulcers

These are but a few of the complications resulting from
alcohol consumption.

Lead A Healthier Life

An effective colon cleanser will help you to naturally rid
your colon of impacted feces. Just think, over time this
will help you to lead a healthier life. If you use a colon
cleanser on a daily basis, you would be well on your way to
eliminating headaches, fatigue and a myriad of other
physical challenges.

Weight Loss Secrets

Weight Loss Secrets
Do you need to lose weight? Want to know the weight loss
secrets that will enable you to lose weight in a fast and
healthy manner? Have you considered signing up with a
national company (no names please) or taking one of the
literally hundreds of diet pills on the market?

Here are the weight loss secrets that will enable you to
lose weight and keep it off forever. The truth is that it
is not much of a secret, it is hidden right there in plain
site. The fact is though that since you may have
considered one of the myriad of options available, you have
simply overlooked the obvious.

There are three pillars to successful weight loss. There
is also a fourth step that you can take if you wish but is
not absolutely necessary. The following are the three steps
to successfully losing weight quickly and efficiently. In
the process you will become healthier and keep those extra
pounds off forever.

Step 1- You absolutely, positively must make up your mind.
In most of the articles that you read this is stated as
establishing a goal. In reality, it is much more than that.

This goal has to be so firmly implanted in your being that
it over rides all of your other programming. For the time
being at least, it has to be the guiding principle of your
life. It is not enough to write down your target weight or
to put idealized pictures up on the fridge.

Ghandi referred to this as making a personal vow. However
it is that you accomplish this, your commitment must be
absolute. When you accomplish this first step, every
action that you take will bring you closer to your goal and
this even includes your missteps.

Step 2- I never get tired of repeating this. Dieting does
not work. Equally true is that becoming fat does not
happen in a vacuum. It is your lifestyle that brought you
to this moment in time. Therefore, it is your lifestyle
that must change.

I firmly believe that there are foods that are made for
human consumption. You response would be, duh. If,
however, this was so obvious, no one would be fat and no
one would get sick.

If you stop and think about it, animals in nature do not
get degenerative diseases. They do not experience, heart
problems, high blood pressure or cancer. They certainly do
not get fat.

But, it you take an animal and domesticate it, he or she
will develop many of the same diseases that we get. The
conclusion is that each species has a group of foods that
enables it to grow and thrive.

The same thing is true about humans. The foods that we
should not eat are fast foods, processed or prepared foods.
We are designed to eat natural foods. This includes whole
grains, beans, vegetables and fruit.

I am not saying that you have to live like a monk. What I
am saying is that your weight and health will be in
proportion to how much good or bad food you eat.

Anyway, the second secret is not to diet, but to change
your lifestyle. Once this is done you will begin to lose
weight, regain your health and keep it off without any
effort.

Step 3- If you don't already, you should have a daily
exercise program. This does not have to be difficult or
unpleasant. Find something that you enjoy doing and do it
everyday for about an hour. Or, it can be several things
that you rotate on a daily basis.

Exercise will accomplish much more than taking off those
extra pounds. Daily exercise will improve your moods,
increase your energy and boost your confidence. As a
result, you will find it that much easier to accomplish
your weight loss goals.

That's pretty much it. If you wish to kick start your
weight loss program you can consider using a natural herbal
weight loss supplement.

Some, but not all, natural weight loss supplements are made
from herbs. Some of them can be extremely effective along
side a comprehensive weight loss program. This can be a
great way to get some quick results. The nice thing about
this is that the right herbal products are mild and product
no harmful side effects.

Finally, here is the biggest secret of all. Understanding
what you have just read is not enough. You must focus and
take action. It really comes down to priorities. In other
words, just how important is this to you?

Human growth hormone enhances muscle growth and reverses aging

Human growth hormone enhances muscle growth and reverses aging
This may be the good news for the bodybuilders out there.
Many experts feel that supplementation with growth hormones
offers exciting possibilities to adult bodybuilders,
especially those aged over thirty.

In the past growth hormone was available only in injectable
form but recent years have seen the development of HGH
precursors and more advanced delivery systems. The most
popular means of taking growth hormone boosters today
include sub-lingual spray, homeopathic pills and capsules
containing HGH secretagogues. One wonders whether hgh has
got some other uses too.

To answer this, we'll need to look first at what growth
hormones actually do. Human Growth Hormone is responsible
for the regulation of insulin, protein synthesis,
transportation of amino acids across cell membranes and fat
metabolism. So , basically this all leads to great benefits
of the serious bodybuilders. But people also use hgh for
their anti aging related programs. Users have reported
higher energy levels and enhanced libido. In addition,
superior immune function, lowering of blood pressure and
improved cholesterol levels have been documented. Improved
sleep, shorter recovery times, fat loss etc. are some other
benefits. One can easily see the benefits for an overweight
aged person. As a person ages it's more arduous to find the
time and drive to exercise. Add to that the fact that
metabolism naturally slows and you've got a recipe for
weight gaining. As you gain weight, it becomes even more
difficult to get up and get the exercise you require. This
is the definition of a vicious circle.

HGH is the acronym for Human Grown Hormone. The natural
human growth hormone is produced in the body's pituitary
gland and this protein blend has several roles. Primarily,
it aids in the routine growth of children. But it's also
been proven to increase energy and to combat the aging
process. Imagine winding back the clock just by adding
human growth hormone dietary supplements to your everyday
schedule, cutting that fat and gaining that youth and vigor
back once again. There are all sorts of weight reduction
aids out there, but energy is the biggest factor in taking
command of your life. With that in mind, human growth
hormone supplements may be just the lift you need to get
your life and your weight back on line.Besides providing
the lift to get you started on a regular exercise regimen,
the increased energy has another positive side effect. How
frequently are you simply too exhausted to properly care
for your skin? You may be giving your features a speedy
cleanse before bed, but ignoring all the other help your
skin needs to remain young and flourishing.

Anti aging products are also available in abundance, but
the natural human growth hormone may very well be the
solution you've been looking for. You may even want to try
a human growth hormone releaser to stimulate your body's
manufacture of this protein.

Think for a moment about the interaction of youth, aging
and energy. If you can recall back to your childhood, you
are possibly awe struck at how hard you worked at every
day, including playtime. And at the end of the day, you can
likely remember drifting off to sleep as soon as your skull
hit the pillow, and then sleeping a deep, restful sleep all
through the night.

The number one method for convincing your body to generate
HGH is high intensity strength training. It's yet one more
good reason to start a program of strength training, and it
doesn't mean you need to join a gym or start pumping
weights, either. Nothing beats strength training for
creating human growth hormone, but there's another factor
that's just as important: adequate sleep. Get lots of
laughter in your life. Or best, join a comedy group so you
can have a good hour or two of laughter each week -- even
if you're laughing at yourself!

Just get to work over you health and get back your youth
for goodness sake!

Human Growth Hormone and Muscle Building

Human Growth Hormone and Muscle Building
Human growth hormone or HGH has been associated with body
building and muscle building for a long time now. It has
been the talk of the circle about the advantages of this
hormone to body and muscle building. There are researches
with findings that show an increased level of the human
growth hormone in our body can be of benefit to those who
wishes to build their muscles. But the use of hormone
injections for this purpose is still a controversial issue,
debated by experts from both sides until today.

If you are one of those who would like to take human growth
hormone injection, do confer with a doctor first before you
come to any conclusion. Do listen to their advice and weigh
the pros and cons before taking the injection. Do avoid
from taking the injection if you can, because it is risky
and can cause many side effects.

There are other safer and more natural ways to induce the
production of the human growth hormone in our body. But
before that, we shall explore more about human growth
hormone. This hormone is found in our body and is naturally
produce by our pituitary gland located deep inside our
brain. For children, it is important for their rapid tissue
growth and for adults, it regulates their metabolism. It is
not recommended for children to take human growth hormone
supplements. It will only be recommended for those after
their puberty years because the level of human growth
hormone produced in our body decrease as we age.

To induce the production of human growth hormone naturally,
sleep is the most important step to take to help release
the human growth hormone into your body. An early sleeping
pattern and a strict determination to follow the routine is
a must. This is because the human growth hormone is
released into your body in the first part of your sleep. If
you get enough good sleep, your body will release enough
human growth hormone, not to mention the ability of your
body to grow and repair tissues will be enhanced as well.

You won't be helping yourself if you do not have enough
sleep. You will slow down the production and the release of
the human growth hormone into your body, and this will
affect the growth of your muscles

Arnold Schwarzenegger once told reporters that he did not
take any human growth hormone supplements when he was a
bodybuilder. Instead he would get up at 3am and do weight
training sessions so that when his level of human growth
hormone were at their highest, he can then go back to have
a proper good night sleep and this will help ensure that
more human growth hormone will be released into his body.

Human growth hormone is also released naturally when you
exercise. Weigh training is beneficial to help to induce
the production of the hormone into your body. Even as age
catches up with you, with proper training and good sleeping
routine, you should never have the need for human growth
hormone supplements.

So before you decide to take any human growth hormone
supplement for your bodybuilding purposes, do ask yourself
whether you have tried the natural ways of increasing the
human growth hormone in your body. It is safe and it is
free. It is also the correct and healthy way to stay
healthy.
