10 Steps to Full Body Detox
You've done a body detox plan before and notice the results
where off not too long afterwards. What's the problem?
The deal is that as soon as you stop using your body detox
plan, you immediately start putting toxins back in your
body. While our focus is on permanent elimination,
adapting these tips in your daily life will help your body
stay cleansed:

1. Stay hydrated by drinking plenty of water. This is one
of the most basic recommendations. However, the amount is
no longer eight glasses a day. The recommended amount is
your body weight divided by 2 in oz. of water. For
example, if you weigh 100 lbs/2=50 oz of water.

2. While water inside your body is a good way to detox,
using water on the outside of your body also helps. Try a
hot shower for five minutes, alternating a few times with
cold water for 30 seconds. Take a rest for 30 minutes
afterwards. This will extend the results of your home body
detox.

3. Look for ways to bolster a clean liver with herbal
supplements and drinking green tea. Your natural food
store can make recommendations. Your liver plays an
important role in keeping your body working properly.

4. Eat foods which are naturally detoxifying, such as leafy
greens and seaweed. Bulk up on fiber. Try to stick to
organic fruits and vegetables. Stay away from caffeine,
sugar and nicotine.

5. An OJ a day does keep the doctor away. Actually, juices
are high in sugar, but make sure to take plenty of Vitamin
C. This helps liver function also.

6. Sweat it out....literally. Perspiration is one way your
body naturally removes waste. Try sweating in a hot tub or
sauna to help eliminate toxins.

7. Take a deep breath. The deeper you breathe, the more
oxygen circulates in your blood and helps keep it clean.
This is one of the easiest ways to promote health. When
you breathe deeply, your stomach should come out as you
breathe in and deflate like a balloon when you breathe out.

8. Exercise, exercise, exercise. This is still one of the
best ways to remove toxins from the system and help
increase energy levels. Yoga is highly recommended, as
well as other eastern forms of exercise which specifically
have movements to promote detoxification such as qigong.

9. Learn to deal with stress. High levels of stress cause
hormone changes which actually can hinder the
detoxification process. Dealing with stress effectively
aids in natural body detox. Try meditation or therapy. A
couple of minutes daily can make all the difference in the
world.

10. Exfoliate your skin by dry-brushing. Don't use any
salt or sugar scrubs, as these may have chemicals in them
that will harm your body. You can also purchase special
baths to help eliminate waste through your pores.

All these recommendations are important to keep your body
cleansed. While you may not be able to do them all at
once, slowly incorporating them into your daily routine
helps bolster your chances for success.

Zeolites - How Do They Affect Cancer?
If you look around the internet, you will find many
references to Activated Liquid Zeolite and its use with
Cancer. This article discusses some of the information, and
attempts to take a rational viewpoint of the material with
regard to what Zeolite actually does in the human body.

Recently, while in Las Vegas, I was told that preliminary
research has been done taking Zeolite with a chemotherapy
drug, Cyclophosphamine. Apparently this drug causes a toxin
called "acrolene" when ingested which has toxic side
effects. When the Activated Liquid Zeolite is taken in
conjunction with the drug, the toxic effects are
eliminated. This is preliminary research and it will be
many years before this connection is proven by published
scientific papers. It may explain why some people have less
side effects from treatment when they are taking the
Activated Liquid Zeolite as well.

First there is Jonathan Campbell, who asserts that
activated liquid Zeolite can cause cancer. There is no
evidence to back this claim. Mr Campbell sells an alternate
cancer cure and has a vested interest in discrediting other
products. Furthermore there are 3 classes of Zeolite. One
includes asbestos, which definitely causes lung cancer. The
sheath like Zeolites, of which Clinoptilolite, the Zeolite
used in activated zeolite products, has been certified as
GRAS (generally recognised as safe) status by the FDA in
the US. This is the highest level of safety possible. Who
do you trust, the FDA, or Mr Campbell?

Now, let's look at some of the research done with regards
to Cancer and Zeolite.

In an article titled "Natural zeolite clinoptilolite: new
adjuvant in anticancer therapy" published in the Journal of
Molecular Medicine Volume 78, Number 12 / February 2001,
research is detailed with Mice, Dogs and Rats, indicating
the use of Zeolite reduces skin cancer tumour growth.

It states, "In vitro tissue culture studies showed that
finely ground clinoptilolite inhibits protein kinase B
(c-Akt), induces expression of p21WAF1/CIP1 and p27KIP1
tumor suppressor proteins, and blocks cell growth in
several cancer cell lines. These data indicate that
clinoptilolite treatment might affect cancer growth by
attenuating survival signals and inducing tumor suppressor
genes in treated cells".

While this is not a study on humans, it does indicate that
the use of Zeolite has some function at least in animals in
tumour suppression. The p21 gene is known by scientists to
suppress tumours and one of the great scientific debates is
how to trigger this gene in cancer patients.

The following information is quoted on many websites. To my
knowledge, it has not been substantiated or published, and
the study was done by Lifelink Pharmaceuticals, of which
Rik Deitsch is a director. It therefore must be taken with
a grain of salt!

Although only one small human trial has been conducted, the
results were intriguing: 78% full remission for stage 4
cancer patients (with various types of cancer). The study
was an open-label trial conducted by the researchers at
LifeLink Pharmaceuticals in Ohio. Although one small study
is not grounds for leaping to solid conclusions about
cancer, this result is promising enough to warrant
additional investigation. Any anti-cancer effect is
probably due to NCD's ability to induce tumor suppressor
genes that cause the body to not only halt the growth of
tumor cells, but actually destroy such tumors.

Now, you must make up your own mind whether animal studies
can be applied to humans, or whether Lifelink's study is
fact or fiction. All we can do is to quote the information
available.

There are some other areas where Natural Cellular Defense
could definitely help with many disease states. One is the
area of body pH. Studies done invitro (in a test tube)
indicate that with a pH of 7.4 or higher, cancer cells
become dormant. This would indicate that if the body's pH
can be raised to this level, it is possible that it could
slow down or even stop the spread of cancer.

Dr. William Kelley, in an article titled, "Cancer - Self
Treatment", suggests that "There is research indicating
that cancer grows slowly in a highly acid environment
(because the acids cause it to partially destroy itself)
and may actually grow more quickly as your body becomes
more alkaline prior to reaching the healthy pH slightly
above 7.4 where the cancer becomes dormant. Therefore, you
will want to get your pH above 7.4 as quickly as possible
by every means available."

This would indicate that when raising pH, it is important
that it is done as quickly as possible and that as pH
rises, cancer activity can increase for a while. So, one
would have to be really convinced that a pH of 7.4 does
effectively stop the spread of the disease before
considering this action.

Often there is a challenge with Natural Remedies in that
sometimes indications get worse before they normalise. This
leads many physicians to recommend against the use of such
products, because they see any worsening of the situation
as alarming. Again, you will have to make your own mind up
about this. The question then is to research alternate
pathways and decide the likely outcome in each case!

Natural Cellular Defense, taken regularly, will raise pH
into the 7.4 zone and keep it there, which I think is a
good thing!

Vic Shayne, PhD in an article called' "Ignoring the Link
Between Toxins and Cancer" states, "With all of the cancer
information and disinformation broadcasted continually
through the major news media, rarely do we hear a mention
of the greatest threat to our health - and the most
prevalent cause of cancer: toxins."

More evidence is emerging every day that there is a
relationship between environmental toxins and cancer. A
recent article in the Vancouver Sun stated, " Banned
pesticides and other toxic chemicals lingering in the
environment put people at an increased risk of developing
non-Hodgkin lymphoma, according to a B.C. Cancer Agency
study".

We are rapidly approaching a point where there is little
doubt that toxins are affecting our health in a negative
way. In 1907 there were less than 7% of deaths from cancer.
At that time no chemicals were used in agriculture. Today
the death rate from cancer is over 30% and of course we
have thousands of toxic substances in our food, water and
air. Is this a coincidence? You decide!

Natural Cellular Defense, or Zeolite, is effective in
removing toxins, particularly heavy metals and organic
chemicals such as dioxin, deildrin and benzene. We have
done hair analysis tests before and after using the
product, and although this is not a scientific controlled
study, the results are documented by lab reports and are
quite impressive.

Research was published in an article titled, "Zeolite
Binds to Benzene" (Active Crystallography 1996). This shows
how in a laboratory, the Zeolite molecules combine with
benzene to remove it from the body.

Conclusion. In summary, we know that Activated liquid
Zeolite increases heavy metal secretion by 8-20 times
baseline. We know that it increases pH to the 7.4 range. We
know that it removes toxins and heavy metals from the body.

This doesn't necessarily mean that the product will give
results with any particular medical condition. We suggest
you do your research. If an out of balance pH or toxic
overload are likely causes of a condition, adding activated
liquid zeolite to your regime won't do any harm, and it
just might work. You have very little to lose and possibly
much to gain.

The Free Radicals can be identified in a comprehensive
biochemical screening report.

Six subclinical defects have been identified that are
common to every degenerative disease.

Free Radicals are extremely reactive chemical entities that
arise normally from metabolism, and also from toxic
exposure.

When your iron status is out of balance, then there will be
free iron produced and this free iron is very toxic. Free
Iron, indicates that iron is not bound to protein. It is a
heavy metal.

Many proteins are enzymes that catalyze biochemical
reactions, and are vital to metabolism.

One example of this is that enzymes produced by chronic
inflammation, combined with damaging free radicals and
alterations in the other subclinical markers assessed cause
a breakdown in connective tissues.

Connective tissues make up the body's "superstructure" and
"guy wires" that literally holds the body together.

The words protein, polypeptide, and peptide are a little
ambiguous and can overlap in meaning.

Protein is generally used to refer to the complete
biological molecule in a stable conformation, whereas
peptide is generally reserved for short amino acid
oligomers often lacking a stable 3-dimensional structure.

However, the boundary between the two is ill-defined and
usually lies near 20-30 residues.

Polypeptide can refer to any single linear chain of amino
acids, usually regardless of length, but often implies an
absence of a defined conformation

The iron withholding mechanism occurs naturally at the
onset of every healthy, acute inflammatory response.

Given full recognition to the natural defence mechanism of
iron withholding allows health professionals to be far more
effective when building immunity, treating people for
cancer, iron deficiency, inflammation, excessive tiredness,
memory decline or depression.

The risk in amplified when laboratory testing is
inadequate; typical of many insurance driven health plans.

Similarly, there is risk in supplementing iron where the
decision to supplement is based solely on a low serum iron
reading.

To give an example, when in the chemistry it shows up that
a person has low serum iron, an elevated to high
Transferrin Iron Binding Capacity and a low Transferrin
Saturation, this is an indicator that there is free iron.

It also indicates that there is a Copper Deficiency.

Cerruloplasmin is a specialized copper-rich protein that
enters the Ferritin molecule to free iron, so it can be
attached to transferrin.

This is a pretty good marker, when it gets elevated, of a
copper deficiency.

Remember that the Cerruloplasmin is the copper bound
protein or protein bound copper is the compound that pulls
the iron out of the ferritin cage, puts it out on to the
transferrin leash and attaches it
to the leash.

If the Cerruloplasmin are not there then of course you can
have a lot of transferrin in the serum without the iron
molecules being attached to the leash.

Each one of these transferrins has two hooks on them so you
can put two irons on each leash but if the copper is not
there, if you are deficient and can't make the
Cerruloplasmin, what happens Transferrin Iron Binding
Capacity rises because you don't have iron actually
attached to enough of the transferrins.

When there is free iron, this also indicates that the iron
is not bound to the protein. One of the consequences of the
depleted amino acids pool is that this has an impact on the
neurotransmitters.

Therefore it could be helpful to access the iron status as
discussed and the amino acid pool.

The diagnosis of Clinical Depression could be dealt with an
additional different protocol, which might lead to better
outcomes.

By identifying the markers for disturbed iron status and

measured iron-binding protein that is synthesized by the
body, is readily taken up by receptors of both healthy
cells and cancer cells. Lactoferrin and lactoglobin,
derived from dairy foods, plus ovotransferrin (conalbumin)
from eggs binds tightly to free iron

When it comes to exercise either the "no equipment excuse"
or the "no time" excuse are among the top and most
frequently abused, often used as justification as to why it
simply cannot be done (exercise that is).

Are you plagued by this , "I don't have enough time to get
to the gym, or even I don't want to."

How would you like to put the odds in your favor and have
more time and more energy to exercise every single day.

How is this possible? Simply put - exercise at your own
home, on your own time, and with your own body.

What do you do? And how long will it take?

How about some squats and push-ups, and it will only take
about 10 minutes.

I'm serious - if you did nothing else, just those two

How does that sound? You can make all the excuses you want,
about how you don't have $3000 worth of equipment or you
don't have a full room dedicated to working out. Or perhaps

That's all great and dandy - but in the end they're just
excuses.

Use your own body to exercise, it's the best equipment you
will ever have!

Unless you can easily do one-arm push-ups and one-leg
squats then you have plenty of room to grow in your fitness
lifestyle. As an exercise coach and weight loss expert here
is what I recommend...

Next time you have 10 minutes try this:

1. Body weight squats (30 seconds)
2. Rest (10 seconds)
3. Pushups (30 seconds)
4. Rest (10 seconds)
5. Burpees / Up-Downs (30 seconds)
6. Rest (10 seconds)

Go through the whole circuit 5 times - 2 minutes each time
through. Don't be fooled by the simplicity of this workout
- try it out and see for yourself.

While there will surely be a bit of transition time or
overdone resting periods - you will usually get it done
with the 10-11 minute range.

Now don't tell me you can't wake up just 10 minutes earlier
and go through this mini workout. You could even do this
while you watch TV.

As you put forth your full effort and truly follow my
advice - I guarantee you will get awesome results.

First, you need to tackle your nutrition. Without a doubt,
what you eat has the greatest impact on your fat loss
success. In as little as 10 seconds, you can overeat
hundreds of calories and wipe out the benefits of even the
greatest workout. So stick to these 3 rules at all times.

1) Don't eat any foods with added sugar or that come in a
bag or a box. This will help you avoid high-calorie
processed carbohydrates.

Its not so much that carbohydrates are evil, its just that
you want to avoid sugar and processed carbohydrates.

Focus on eating foods that contain fiber along with
carbohydrates, such as apples and other fruits, oatmeal and
other fiber-rich grains, and all different types of
vegetables.

2) Avoid all liquid calories. This tip alone can result in
almost overnight fat loss, and often adds up to over 10
pounds of weight loss.

So no more sodas, juices, energy drinks, Frappacinos, or
other calorie-added beverages. Avoid mixed drinks because
this can double your calorie intake.

3) Fill up on fiber rich foods at every meal. From oatmeal
in the morning, to almonds between meals, and fruits and
vegetables at lunch and dinner, you'll control your
appetite by increasing your fiber intake.

Eat foods that go straight from the garden to your plate.
You can also eat nuts, another great whole, natural food
that gets a bad rap. Eat 1 ounce of almonds, walnuts or
pecans everyday to help curb your appetite. Each half an
ounce in the morning and half an ounce in the afternoon for
snacks.

While nutrition is the key to fat loss, you can't maximize
your fat burning without doing some type of exercise. The
most important factor here is consistency, so choose
something you like. When you are ready for advanced
workouts, take these tips into account.

1) Do three 20-minute total body strength training workouts
per week. Have a trainer show you how to do squats,
pushups, rowing exercises, and other multi-muscle exercises
that allow you to train lots of muscle groups in a short
amount of time.
