Hot Tubs & Swimming Pools

Hot Tubs & Swimming Pools
Many people think that it is a real boon to have a swimming
pool and obviously it is great, especially if you have
children or grand children, but anybody who actually has
one will be well aware of the actual time it takes to keep
it clean from everything the wind and elements bring to it.

In addition, you have the routine of having to constantly
check that the balance and quality of the water is correct.
Then unless one also has a water heating system, which
usually turns out very costly the pool, can only give a
nice bathing temperature for only a few months of the year
at the most. To have a sauna is also great as you feel
wonderful after that final shower and in the winter, it
really warms you up. Many people having both these
luxuries have now decided to try the latest trend that is
so popular in the United States and is rapidly growing
round the world that of a Jacuzzi style Hot Tub.

When choosing a Hot Tub there a few points to consider and
here are some of them:-

Good quality Hot Tubs have well designed shells made from
high-grade acrylic like Lucite Extra Cast or Quarrite.
Make sure that the Acrylic is of a high standard not just
that it is simply Lucite inspired or based on a Lucite
design. Get the dealer to show you his colours chips marked
Lucite or Quarrite as appropriate.

If it is not made of these materials then one has to ask
one self why not, as these two makers of Acrylic are
acknowledged as making some of the best acrylic for Hot Tub
Jacuzzi Spas in the world.

Modern Hot Tubs have well designed plumbing systems to
minimize the noise of their running and avoid tight or
small pipe runs and are well designed and assembled with
proper materials and not in a cheap skate way.

The latest electronic controls like Balboa to control the
spa functions such as heating - pumps - timers and that
kind of thing

A proper bottom or base that will with stand the elements
and any attacks from horrible beasties. Some Ozone and I
hear you saying what is that? Everybody I ask says they
know what it is but I doubt somewhat. Ozone is something I
am sure many of us have heard of but do not really know
what it is.

Ozone is a form of" active oxygen", nature's very own
special molecule and interestingly enough the composition
of one ozone molecule contains three oxygen atoms. On the
cheaper imports, the Ozone looks like large water droplets
but on the proper made spas, the Ozone is seen as a fine
stream of air bubbles.

Properly designed seats that are accommodating and have
different heights and shapes so as to create a different
sensation treatment

A properly made cover that will retain heat and our
experience is that with proper cover, the hot tub with no
heating will only lose one or two degrees overnight say
from 7 in the evening to 10 am in the morning. Obviously,
the ambient temperature will have some effect on this.

Easy step guide to hair style and color.

Easy step guide to hair style and color.
Hair style and color always represent characteristics and
taste of individual. Hair style and color therefore have a
major role to this and many people always looking for the
ones that fit to personal characteristics the most. Apart
form that hair style and color should match and stay in
trend of the current fashion, you just can not doing what
you want without realizing the trends, especially if you
are teenager or young adult.

According to this reason, having just the right hair cut
may be not enough. it is really important to get to know
more if you are going to change your hair color. Firstly
you should learn that how many types of hair color changing
process.

There are few types of hair coloring, which are temporary
and permanent. The temporary hair coloring is suitable for
people who love to ensure that they are up to date and
changing hair color to follow the trends, which keep
changing all the time. Meanwhile , the permanent hair
coloring is suitable for people who seem not prefer to
change hair color frequently or sometimes it is use for
people who has irregular symptom of hair color such as the
person who has white or grey hair and want to change it
permanently.

Apart from these types, it can be divided by several types
f hair coloring such as different hues, lowlights,
highlights and so on.

Now let's take a closer look at each method so you have
better knowledge on each type and make effective decision
on hair coloring. The first type, permanent, is the method
that actually uses the color which can penetrate into the
hair pigment and change the color. Also, color that applied
by permanent method can not be eliminated by just using
simply wash out. In fact, the color may fades after the
time but it is just can not completely remove for the hair
cell pigment.

This type of hair coloring is very important. It means that
you have to be sure before you decide to take it because it
could never be changed in later time s you have to learn
more about its pros and cons until you get enough
information to make final decision.

Moreover, once you decide to do permanent hair color, you
must ensure that it was done by professionals, not by

improperly, it means that you have to cut your hair and
start over.

Secondly, if you are considering to get temporary hair
color. Now it seems you have fewer problems because it just
uses the temporary type color and you can change it any
time you want. However, the most important that you have to
consider is about the type of color that you choose. In
some cases people use the low quality color and it becomes
fade in very short time, so you have to ensure to use the
good quality one.

Also, you may have to consider the type of your hair (dry,
normal, etc) and get some advice from professional about
which type that suitable to your hair type the most.

Take the Opportunity to Inspire and Motivate yourself every 24 hours.

Take the Opportunity to Inspire and Motivate yourself every 24 hours.
Most popular music artists, across genres and generations,
have performed songs on the joy of a new day and the
opportunities it throws at us, opportunities to make a
fresh start, and leave yesterday behind.

It is, indeed, one of the most inspirational themes we can
and must utilize in our lives. And we don't have to wait a
year for a new year, or a birthday or some other
significant anniversary - we have the opportunity to
inspire and motivate ourselves every 24 hours.

Why all the importance to the start of our day, you may
ask. Just look back into your recent past and you will
notice that the manner in which you started your day
ultimately decided your attitude for the entire day. If
your day starts badly, your entire attitude tends to be
negative.

So how much of how our day starts is in our hands?

Well a lot. If we feel our days aren't starting off on a
bright, positive note, we have all the power and tools
necessary to change it. How many times have you proactively
tried to change your approach to starting the day?

Try and you will realize that if you change your approach
and attitude, your entire day will witness a significant
difference. Here are some tips to help you make that change.

1. Get started early.

Mornings are inherently invigorating. It is almost as if it
were the grand design of nature. Mornings come with just
the right atmosphere to kick start the new day. Everything
in nature comes alive and our immediate surroundings are
abuzz with activity. Utilize this natural phenomenon to
your benefit.

Inspire yourself to wake up early in the morning. Take in
the freshness in the air and in nature. Early rising is a
very good habit and also has proven long lasting benefits
not just for the way the rest of your day pans out, but
also for your general mental and physical well being.

2. Leave yesterday behind.

While we can't practically start every day with a blank
slate, it is advisable to forget the past day with the
morning of a new one. Don't spend your morning mulling over
things that have happened the day before. Don't crib or be
depressed. Start your day looking forward to the
opportunities it brings and not behind at the
disappointments that preceded it.

3. Get physical.

Mornings are active - our environment is awake and active.
Join in. Get active yourself. Go out for a walk or a jog;
try some exercise, practice yoga. Shake your mind and body
out of its slumber. Dance if you like that better, anything
that helps your mind and body prime up to take the new day
on.

4. Eat like a King.

Breakfast is the single most important meal of the day.
Numerous studies have repeatedly proven the importance of a
good, nourishing breakfast and yet it seems to be the one
meal we most compromise on.

Don't rush out the door without breakfast. Your body needs
the energy. A healthy breakfast will help you gain energy
for the rest of the morning and even for the afternoon.

5. Say a little prayer.

Among all the activity that your morning should consist of,
take the time out to offer your gratitude for everything
that's good in your life, your success, your family, and
the good times.

Thank the power that is for the benedictions it has
bestowed upon you. Take a few minutes off to fully
appreciate how good things are and how lucky you are.

In the grand scheme of things, it is easy to miss the
opportunity that is a new day. Make the most of every day
by grabbing it with both hands and starting it off on a
right, bright, positive note.

ADHD Medications And Children With Anxiety

ADHD Medications And Children With Anxiety
For those who are not clear, ADHD is an abbreviation for
Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder, a behavioral
disorder that is now affecting nearly 10% of the school-age
chidren. In our day to day life, you may hear a lot of
people associate ADHD medications with children with
anxiety. From a more professional point of view, however,
there is no direct relation between the two. They are only
associated for the simple fact that both relate to ADHD. If
a child is suffering ADHD, he will have extremely hard time
in paying attention and focusing, which will ultimately
lead to failure in achieving goals.

Despite its seemingly obvious symptoms, diagnosis of ADHD
is not as easy as many would believe. This is because about
two thirds of the children with ADHD also suffer other
medical conditions the same time, and the common coexisting
conditions include anxiety disorder, ODD (Oppositional
Defiant Disorder) and CD (Conduct Disorder), mood disorder,
and learning disabilities. Now, it is not hard to
understand the association between ADHD and anxiety - they
often go side by side!

In fact, about 25% of the ADHD sufferers also have anxiety
disorders. There are both mental and physical symptoms,
such as restlessness, fatigue, difficulty in concentration,
irritability, insomnia, excessive worry, fear, heart
racing, sweating, stomach pains, and diarrhea. Others may
even develop OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder) and
Tourette syndrome, as well as motor or vocal tics
(movements or sounds that are repeated over and over).

In diagnosing ADHD with anxiety conditions, doctors usually
will inquire into the complete medical history of the
child, use their own observation, and conduct an interview
with parents. At the moment, ADHD cannot be completely
cured but can be effectively managed through a combination
of medications and behavior therapies. The anxiety
condition is also highly treatable with professional
counseling coupled with medications. In both situations,
early treatment may help prevent further development of
mental problems, including suicide attempts.

There are several types of ADHD medications, such as
stimulants, non-stimulants and anti-depressants. All of
them have established effectiveness, but none is totally
free in side-effects although there is currently no
evidence of any long-term ones. The same can be said for
medications for children's anxiety, but of course the two
medications cannot be used interchangeably.

Behavior therapy is another effective means to treat both
ADHD and children's anxiety. With that method, the doctors
endeavor to adjust the behavior of affected children by
making right changes to their home and school environment,
improving their organisational skill, and setting up an
appropriate reward and punish system.

Without a doubt, the parents' involvement is an essential
in implementing the behavior therapy. Being the closest
ones to the affected children, parents can help their kids
by creating a routine, help organise, limit distractions,
establish goal, rewards and confidence. As such, parent
training is often an indispensable part of the treatment
program.

Despite the importance of the role by parents of the
affected children, some people are still attributing the
cause of children's mental problem to poor parenting. This,
of course, is a complete myth. Today, the stresses faced by
our teenagers are no less than adults, which include the
worries for schooling and concerns about socialisation.
Plus, teenagers' minds are experiencing constant learning
and changes. Having said these, there is no need to over
worry if you have a problem child. As said, ADHD can be
effectively managed with behavioral therapy and ADHD
medications, and children with anxiety can also be
successfully treated with the same combination of methods.

Can Heavy People Practice Tai Chi?

Can Heavy People Practice Tai Chi?
Yang Chengfu was the master of Tai Chi Chuan who brought
tai chi to the masses in China. He was also responsible for
the popularity of Yang Style Tai Chi Chuan.

I don't think Yang Chengfu was heavy in his younger days.
It's said that as he became successful and better known his
new life brought with it plenty of food and drink, and he
put on quite a bit of weight. I've never heard that his
weight caused him any problems when doing tai chi. He was
always considered a great master.

I've seen heavy people show up for classes and I've seen
them improve the same as anyone else. A heavy friend of
mine recently told me he doesn't like going to the gym
because he doesn't want to stand out. He would much rather
be able to exercise at home. He tells me this is common
among heavy people and I believe him.

The biggest problem I've seen new students have is a lack
of leg strength, and it's the same for everyone. It takes
time to build leg strength and there are specific exercises
for this purpose. Like everything else, the more often you
do these exercises the quicker you build leg strength,
whether you're heavy or not.

Heavy people seem to have a harder time with stamina, and
seem to overcome it fairly quickly if they come to class a
couple of times each week.

On the other hand its seems that heavy people also have an
advantage, and this is that they are often stronger than
skinny people so they can advance more quickly in areas
such as long pole work. Using a 3 meter long pole is a good
way to build the types of muscles needed for good tai chi
as well as the waist/hip movement that's so important as
you advance.

So if heavy people don't like going to classes, how can
they help themselves? Most exercise tapes are geared toward
thinner people and are more difficult for heavier people to
adapt.

My goal is to reach people who don't otherwise have access
to tai chi classes and, those who don't like being in a
classroom situation. Tai chi is easily modified for
practice in a hotel room or even your kitchen. It provides
people with an alternative and has more health benefits
than anything else I know.

According to a Non-obesity Specific Health Study sited on
ObesityDiscussion.com, "Heavy people sit on average two and
a half hours more per day than thin people". This makes tai
chi an excellent and very simple exercise for heavy folks.
It can be done by simply standing while doing the arm
movements for 5 minutes at a time. As people progress they
can also do it standing with their legs bent to increase
the workout, as well as incorporating the leg movements.

So if you're a heavy person, don't let your weight hold you
back. Tai chi exercises can provide enormous benefits for
your heart, blood pressure, immune system, balance, etc.
The main thing is to move a little bit more, a little more
often so your body becomes conditioned to the changes and
you begin to notice the difference.

Once you get started you may find it hard to stop. To me
tai chi is like a drug that makes me feel really good, and
if I don't do it for a while I can feel the difference.

Ways to Natural weight loss

Ways to Natural weight loss
To have weight in accordance to your height is important
not only to look good but also to stay healthy. Obesity is
often accompanied with health problems like hypertension
and cardiac problems, so one must be conscious to avert it
as much as possible. For those who have already crossed the
stage of averting obesity, there is still a ray of hope to
lose weight and that too naturally without any side
effects. Weight loss primarily involves two things -
healthy food habits and physical activity. Just what the
clichéd saying "boundaries are not necessarily
limitations" suggests, similarly is the case with healthy
food habits.

Eating healthy food doesn't necessarily mean restrictive
dieting, i.e. sudden and drastic change in eating habits of
people that often leads to more craving and is thereby
unsustainable for majority, which demoralizes them and they
eventually give up their pursuit for weight loss. The
changes that are made in the diet should therefore be small
and the ones that can be continued for a long term.

For instance, one may try taking fruits instead of biscuits
and simply cut down the deserts that one consumes after the
meal. It would also be helpful to replace junk food with
some healthy snacks such as sprouted pulses. These are
small sacrifices that will gradually become a part of your
daily life.

Once you start losing, you will definitely be encouraged
and that will make you even more determined. Positive
thinking and noticing your achievements will help you stay
focused. The same concept of making small changes applies
to physical activity as well. People often join fitness
centers to lose weight and somehow leave it as they are not
able to adjust it to their tight schedules. The result is
that they gain weight again. So, it is better to make
exercises as a part of your schedule.

That is to say, climbing stairs at the workplace instead of
using escalators, playing with your kid or take a brisk
walk at night with your family instead of simply chatting
at home are some of the physical activities which must be
adopted in our daily life. These small changes can thereby
help you in achieving a lot and again make you fit in the
same jeans that you might have stacked in your wardrobe
with the hope of wearing it one day once you are slim.
Depending on others for your diet and exercise schedules
are a mere waste of time, you are your best judge in
working out your slimming plan that fits best in your
schedule and thereby can be worked upon easily without any
problems.

So, make a schedule for yourself today and get started to
discover a new "you", who is more beautiful, confident,
healthy and all ready to chase the world with pride. Just
adhere to these small changes and see the difference in
yourself. So, no need to be distressed anymore if you are
overweight. Be firm and follow the natural healthy diet
plan and shed off those extra pounds hampering your
personality.

Liver Detoxification: Why it Works to Slim Your Abs.

Liver Detoxification: Why it Works to Slim Your Abs.
Radiologists and gastroenterologists claim that, after
looking at many peoples livers, 50% of middle-aged
Americans have a condition called "fatty liver". The most
common causes are poor diet, excessive use of alcohol,
toxic chemicals, heavy metals, and hepatitis. Liver disease
has many symptoms: nausea, vomiting, malaise, fatigue,
yellowing of the skin and/or eyes, and a swollen abdomen.
The list goes on and on. You can easily determine if your
liver function is not right by having a blood test.
Luckily, there are many methods of detoxifying your liver.

Before you jump into a liver detoxification process, you
should know some of the key nutrients needed to insure its
success. An adequate supply of the antioxidants vitamin C,
selenium, beta carotene, vitamin E, and
N-acetyl-cysteine(NAC) is very much needed. The amino acid
SAM-E is an important component in lever health. This
article will show the relation of these nutrients and
different ways to detoxify your liver, as well as how each
of those methods actually works in your body.

Milk thistle is a plant originally from Southern Europe and
North Africa. It can also be found in Southern Russia and
Asia Minor. Its use, as it pertains to liver
detoxification, is derived from a flavonoid, called
silymarin, found in the seeds. Herbalists, including a
group of scientists known as Commission E, recognize that
silymarin protects the liver by altering and strengthening
the outer cell membrane of hepatacytes(liver cells). It
also stimulates the natural regenerative capabilities of
the liver and helps in the formation of new heptacytes
through the activation of the enzyme nucleolar polymerase A.

Oral chelation is used to detoxify the liver based on the
belief that small amount of heavy metals are ingested by
many people. These minute amounts accumulate over the
years and begin to effect liver function. To stop there
effect you need to eliminate these heavy metals. The best
way to do this is through your stool. That is why you
should have 2-3 bowel movements per day when detoxifying
your liver in this manner. Most of the supplements in this
program target the mercury in your body. Mercury, and
other heavy metals, lead to the release of "free radicals"
that can cause cancer, Some of the supplements pull the
mercury from your body tissue, while others bind to the
freed metal. All combine to get the metals into your stool
so that your body can eliminate them.

The "Liver Flush" theory holds that there are dozens of
gallstones that are choking the connection between the
liver and the gallbladder( the biliary duct). Because of
this the liver does not produce enough bile and what bile
is formed is full of the bacteria and toxins the liver
filters from your body. The "Liver Flush" reverses this by
causing those gallstones to soften or break up so that they
can be removed in your bowel. This is a complicated
process, but all of the information that you will need is
available on the internet for free.

Lastly, there is the coffee enema. The use of coffee is
for liver detoxification, not colon cleansing. As funny as
it may sound, it has been used in cancer therapy and
alternative medicine for years. There is a duct in the
sigmoid colon that connects it to the liver. It is
referred to as the entero-hepatic circulation system.
Toxins are transferred from the stool to the liver to be
neutralized. The caffeine causes the bile ducts to empty
into the sigmoid colon. This releases the toxins from the
liver and allows them to be eliminated in the stool.

All of these methods of liver detoxification are safe to be
used by people in good health, who are weak, and those who
are ill. The basics ov liver detoxification revolve around
eliminating the build up of toxins in the liver. Whether
they do it by removing heavy metals or opening obstructions
between the liver and the gallbladder, they all acknowledge
the great importance of a healthy liver. A healthy is
smaller than one filled with toxins, this causes a slimmer
abdomen and better looking abs.

Eating At Night: Can You Lose Body Fat

Can you lose body fat even if you eat at night? That is an
age old question. To make it more interesting; there are
experts who say you can and still others that swear eating
at night is the greatest weight loss sin you can commit.
The truth lays somewhere in the grey area between. It is
not a black and white topic, so why would there be a black
and white answer. Here are a few facts, thoughts, and
practical suggestions that may help you make up your own
mind and guide you through your weight loss attempts.

Eating at night in, and of, itself will not make you fat.
There are too many other things involved to make such a
huge generalization. One of the biggest factors is caloric
intake and the amount of energy used by your body each day.
With that in mind, it is possible to eat a meal right
before you go to bed and still lose body fat. It is what
compromises that meal that matters. First, you have to be
in a caloric deficit situation. Second, the meal must have
an appropriate carbohydrate content. The common sense of
eating the bulk of your calories and carb density while you
are the most active is easy to see.

To figure out when your body is in a calorie deficit
situation you only need to think about what time of day you
work out. Your body will be calorie strapped in the period
after you work out. You will want to consume a meal rich
in protein and carbs afterwards, no matter what time of day
it is. Post workout nutrition is important for recovery
and muscle mass growth. Eating after a night time workout
is unlikely to create fat because the caloric content is
needed to fill you body's depleted energy stores.

Is it possible to eat at night, be a fairly inactive
person, and still lose body fat? There is the fifty dollar
question. The magic answer is...drum roll please... watch
what you eat! You have a craving about 9 p.m. You are
bored. Why not eat something to occupy your hands and
distract yourself. What do you grab? Chips, pretzels,
candy, a big hunk of leftovers? What you really get are
carbs, fats, and sugars that your body will store as a
beautiful spare tire or some junk in your trunk. You can
eat but you have to think. A little twist on the "exchange
diet" will help. Pretzels are exchanged for carrots.
Chips equal raw broccoli or cauliflower. These are foods
that are filling, both in your hands and stomach, harder to
digest, and healthy. Raw vegetables use more calories to
digest than other foods while helping to nourish your body.
If you are thirsty, drop the soda or fruit juice. No soda
for obvious reasons, but avoid the fruit juice because the
simple, natural sugars it contains will be turned into fat
cells more easily, by your body. Try water with a teaspoon
of lemon juice or another flavor of your choice.

All quality weight loss and fat reduction programs stress
the importance of a healthy caloric intake. Where they
differ is how and when to eat. A good, even, intake is
best. Especially one that allows you to eat small,
frequent meals. Moderation and nutrition are key elements
in any program. It is possible to eat at night and lose
body fat if you keep these two things in mind. Watch your
calories and time the bulk of protein and carbs so that
they are consumed shortly after a food workout. Eat smart.
Combine these tips and you will be able to eat late and
lose weight. Special thanks to Ori Hofmekler -

Get Rid Of Stress In The Workplace And Become More Productive At The Same Time

Get Rid Of Stress In The Workplace And Become More Productive At The Same Time
Stress in the workplace is one of the top topics when it
comes to stress-management because oddly enough most stress
occurs in the workplace environment. To understand that we
first have to understand ...

-The Primal Roots Of Stress

The animal in us humans has a basic paranoia build in. Have
you ever tried to pet an unknown cat and it ran away? It's
basic self-protecting paranoia. And as evolved we humans
want to see ourselves, we still run on the same basic
"operating system".

Stress is the basic fight or flight reaction that gets
triggered when we see ourselves in danger.

This is key!

-Different Kinds Of Stress

You have surely heard of the concept of different kinds of
stress before. We generally differentiate between:
constructive stress (eustress) and destructive stress
(distress). Constructive stress is very healthy in the
workplace since it gives you a drive towards success, keeps
you excited, and can lead to a creative state of flow.

The primal reaction reaction to danger is what is referred
to as distress. The human biology doesn't care anymore
about getting any kind of work done, it just wants to fight
or flight.

That's when you keep thinking about what a prick your
co-worker/boss is and can't concentrate on your work
anymore.

-Out Of The Stress-Consciousness

I honestly don't want to give you the same advice that you
get everywhere else concerning stress-management: Take a
vacation, spend time with your family, work out, volunteer
for charity work, get together with your friend and eat
healthy.

Poof, all your problems will be gone. Next client please.
(...as if ...)

Sure, that advice has its place and you will feel much
better after a good workout, for example. But let's not kid
ourselves, the next day it will be the same old story and
the same stress appears again.

Fact is: You will never get out of being stressed by other
people or circumstances in your workplace as long as you
percieve them as being a danger.

Even if this is unconscious.

The perception of danger is the turning point of eustress
(productivity) crossing over into distress.

-Making The Unconscious Conscious

Now is the time for some good self-honesty.

1. Remember the last time you got into some seriously
uncomfortable stress in the workplace

2. Do what you would do naturally and review the major
troubles you have in that situation

3. Now let's shift your focus from the situation or person
(well, where did I know from that it was outside of
yourself ...) to yourself. Which of your beliefs play into
this trouble?

4. What are you afraid of? If you don't know, just guess.
What could you maybe afraid of? Make a list of
possibilities without judging. It's not necessary. When the
situation occurs next time you will be able to point more
and more in the direction of which of your guesses was the
most accurate.

5. Really picture in your mind what the worst possible
outcome of the situation may be.

6. What would you do given the circumstance that the worst
case scenario really happened? Could you deal with that in
any way?

7. What is the most probable outcome of the situation?

Our goal is to get more and more of our common sense into
our animalistic fear-reactions. For example, when the
stress arises from meeting a deadline or you will loose
your job, this can be a very scary situation to be in.

The only way to get out of being paralyzed by the stress
ahead is in fact to get less outcome-dependent. This seems
to be one of the big ironies of life, since independence
from the outcome usually produces better outcomes.

Don't just skim the above steps and go "Yeah, yeah. Done
that". Take your time and really do this analysis. It will
get you further in the long run than any
vacation-workout-volunteering-quickfix.

To combine productivity and relaxation, simply avoid
destructive stress in the workplace -- which might prove to
be a much harder task than it sounds. Eustress is the flow
you are looking for to happily be productive at work.

Sincerely,

Konstantin Koss

Why Fad Diet Plans Don't Work

Why Fad Diet Plans Don't Work
I am on a mission to educate women on why fad diet plans
don't work. I have seen too many women fall victim to the
never ending stream of fad diet plans that come on the
market and wants to change the way women look at how to
lose weight fast.

I have seen it over and over and over again; women
constantly on the lookout for the latest and greatest fad
diet plan. They almost always result in the dreaded yo-yo
weight gain cycle that actually causes women to gain more
weight back than they originally lost!

I have the following advice for women who want to know how
to lose weight fast in a safe and healthy manner.

1) One of the best ways to lose weight fast is to eat 4-6
small, nutritious meals throughout the day. Women are
advised to ignore any fad diet plan which teaches anything
different. The reason for eating 4-6 small, nutritious
meals a day is to boost your metabolism. When you eat
these small meals frequently throughout the day your body
has to digest them, which means it burns calories to do
this. This is an easy way to provide a little boost to
your metabolism and burn more calories throughout the day.
The more healthy food it consumes in small portions over
the course of the day, the more fat is burned. Fad diet
plans typically teach women to starve themselves which
causes a great deal of damage to their metabolism.

2) You need to incorporate some lean protein into these 4-6
small, nutritious meals. The importance of adding protein
is twofold. First, protein is a great nutrient that helps
provide fullness and satiety. It will prevent you from
getting hungry between meals and splurging or overeating.
Second, protein has what is called a high thermic effect of
food. This means that your body requires more calories to
digest protein than it does for carbohydrates or fat. This
is another way to speed up your metabolism and burn more
calories throughout the day.

3) Fad diet plans tend to focus on one particular food that
women enjoy eating. If a program advises you to consume any
one food - such as ice cream or grapefruits - the fad diet
plan should not be followed as it will result in eventual
failure.

Fad diet plans only offer a quick short term solution and
sometimes they don't even offer that. To get permanent fat
loss you have to make behavioral changes that you will
follow all the time. Fad diet plans won't teach you how to
keep your fat off and this is why it results in eventual
failure and the return of the weight you just lost.

Diet. Just Say No Way! 4 Suggestions for Weight Loss

Diet. Just Say No Way! 4 Suggestions for Weight Loss
Say the word diet and I immediately think, hunger,
cravings, and weight gain. I just can't go on a diet.
Chances are if you are overweight you don't need to go on a
diet either. You just need to adjust your eating behaviors.
So what might you do? Here are a few suggestions that you
can practice starting now.

1. Eat much, much more slowly. Don't be the first person
to finish. If someone else finishes before you do, stop
eating. Yes. Push your plate away and step away from the
food. Since I am single and date, I watch how people eat.
The bigger people always eat all their food, and quickly.
The skinnier people leave some and are not in a hurry.
That's my mini research project conclusion.

2. Leave food on your plate, especially at a restaurant.
The servings are huge and loaded with fat. That's why it
tastes so good (but not good for you in large quantities).
You eating your food or not does not impact people starving
in Ethiopia. If you really care about them, stop eating out
and send a little money each month to your favorite charity.

3. If you drink soda pop, juice or put sugar in your tea of
coffee, stop that right now. Drink water, diet sodas and
use Splenda. It won't kill you, but your deteriorating
health due to excess weight will shorten your life. Yes,
juice is just basically sugar water with added nutrients.
Limit yourself to one juice a day.

4. Move more. Whatever your activity level, make a plan to
increase it gradually over the next ten weeks. If you've
not been very active, start slowly. You don't want to hurt
yourself. I suggest walking. It's the easiest thing to do
and you can walk outside or in a mall. Get a good pair of
walking shoes and comfortable clothes and go for a walk.
If you haven't walked more than a block in a long time,
then your next walk would be two blocks until that is
comfortable. Then increase your time or distance.

One of the best things about being overweight is that you
have such a great potential for improvement and you can
create success for yourself (in weight loss) by just
changing a few habits. Write down 3 - 4 things you want to
do differently, put them on your calendar or planner, set
an alarm for when you need to be doing it and do them for
several weeks. After that becomes easy, add a few more . .
. and you won't have to follow any diet plan ever. Nice!

----------------------------------------------------
Along with a healthy diet you also need a good exercise
program consisting of moderately intense activity 5 times a
week for 30-45 minutes or, 3 times per week for 20 minutes
at a higher intensity. Short on time but still want to
stay healthy? More fitness and health tips at

Signs of Skin Cancer Symptoms

Signs of Skin Cancer Symptoms
Skin cancer is the most common form of cancer to strike
people than any other form of cancer. Skin cancer is more
common in fair-skinned people, but all skin types can
develop skin cancer. The main cause of skin cancer is from
ultraviolet radiation from too much time spent in the sun.
Identifying the signs of skin cancer early, and avoiding
overexposure to the sun are the two best ways to prevent
skin cancer. The three major causes of skin cancer are
heredity, environment, and ultraviolet light damage to the
skin, mostly in children and teenagers. Studies show adults
receive half of their lifetime ultraviolet exposure when
they are 20 years old.

Our skin is the largest organ of our body. It protects our
internal organs from injury, acts as a barrier between
those organs and bacteria, and prevents the loss of
valuable fluid from our body. It also regulated body
temperature and communicates to the brain to allow for
temperature, touch, and pain sensations. You can see why it
is important to keep our skin healthy and free from any
signs of skin cancer symptoms. The majority of skin cancers
are classified as non-melanoma or melanoma.

Non-melanoma skin cancer will develop on those areas of the
body that are the most exposed to the sun. The early signs
of skin cancer systems that appear on the body, face, ears,
neck, lips, and the backs of our hands are where most
non-melanoma skin cancer would be found. These signs of
skin cancer rarely spread to another part of the body.

A sign of skin cancer symptoms can be fast growing, or slow
growing.

Melanoma, a common skin cancer, begins in the cells that
produce the skin pigment or coloring known as melanin.
Melanin also protects the deepest layers of the skin from
harmful radiation from the sun. Melanoma accounts for a
small percentage of skin cancer, but it is far more
dangerous and life threatening than non-melanoma skin
cancer. The chances of surviving melanoma skin cancer are
better if it is caught in the earliest stage.

The signs of skin cancer include family history of skin
cancer, multiple moles, a fair complexion, exposure to coal
tar, pitch, creosote, arsenic compounds, and radium, and
severe sunburn as a child.

Your body will show early signs of skin cancer symptoms,
and both patients and doctors play an important role in
finding signs of skin cancer. If you believe you have signs
of skin cancer or have any change on the skin, consult your
doctor. Any change can be a sign of skin cancer, like the
size and color of a mole, or a growth that is darkly
pigmented, or a new growth on the skin. If you have a
change in the appearance of any bump or nodule, or if you
have oozing, bleeding or scaling of the skin you should
contact your doctor. Another sign of skin cancer to look
for is if the color of the pigmentation spreads beyond the
border of a mole or mark. Another sign of skin cancer would
be a change in sensations to your skin, for example,
itchiness, tenderness, or pain, it's time to go to your
doctor.

What is important to know is that skin cancer can be
prevented by watching for any of the signs of skin cancer
symptoms. Practice sun safety and avoid being out in the
sun for long periods. If you fear that you have signs of
skin cancer symptoms, avoid the sun altogether between the
hours of 10 AM and 4 PM. Try to stay in the shade
especially when rays are the strongest. It will also help
if you put on a long sleeved shirt to prevent the suns rays
from reaching your skin.

If you show any of the signs of skin cancer symptoms, using
sunscreen is important when you are going to be in the sun.
Using a sunscreen of SPF 15 or above when outdoors will
help you protect your skin from skin cancer. Use sunscreen
generously and always reapply if you have been in the
water, are heavily perspiring, or have recently toweled off.

Putting on a hat will keep your face, ears, and neck shaded
from developing signs of skin cancer. A wide-brimmed hat is
the best choice but if you are wearing a baseball cap,
remember to protect your ears and neck with sunscreen.

Your eyes also need protection from developing signs of
skin cancer. Wear sunglasses with the best protection for
the eyes and surrounding skin. Sunglasses with 99-100
percent UV absorption are recommended when you are in the
sun.

Protect yourself, and alert your doctor if you think you
may be developing any signs of skin cancer.

Diagnosing IBS - New Guidelines

Diagnosing IBS - New Guidelines
NICE otherwise known as the National Institute for Health
and Clinical Excellence, have recently released new
guidelines in relation to the diagnosis of Irritable Bowel
Syndrome and the treatment options for IBS.

What is IBS?

IBS is one of the most common disorders affecting the
digestive tract. It can be described as a complex syndrome
with a combination of symptoms which can include diarrhoea,
constipation or both, along with abdominal pain and
bloating. Other symptoms can include mucous in the stools,
excess gas and nausea. Some of these symptoms can also be
present in other disorders or conditions of the digestive
tract which is why diagnosis can be problematic.

The important point about IBS is that it is not dangerous
and it doesn't progress to cancer or other potentially
serious conditions. However, there is no cure for IBS and
living with it day after day can significantly impair
quality of life. Furthermore, as treatment very much
depends on the symptoms that are causing the most
discomfort, there is no standard treatment plan or
medication to suit everyone so finding the right approach
for any one individual more or less consists of trying
various options until such time that relief can be obtained.

How will IBS be diagnosed?

Up until now, obtaining a diagnosis of IBS was a time
consuming process that could take several years. The reason
for this was because it was conducted by a process of
elimination whereby all other potential conditions had to
be ruled out first. These latest guidelines are expected to
speed up the process of diagnosing IBS and offer more
appropriate forms of treatment that are suited to the
individual. So what does this all mean if you suspect you
are suffering from IBS?

The guidelines now advise doctors that a diagnosis of IBS
should be considered if a patient presents with abdominal
pain and discomfort, abdominal bloating, and changes in
bowel movements that have existed for a period of at least
six months. A positive diagnosis can be made if the
abdominal discomfort and pain is relieved by performing a
bowel movement, is associated with changes in bowel
frequency or the consistency of the stools and is
accompanied by at least two of the following symptoms:

- Straining, a sense of urgency, feeling of incomplete
evacuation after performing a bowel movement
- Bloating, distended abdomen, tension or hardness (more
common in women)
- Symptoms that are made worse by eating
- Mucous in the stools

In order to rule out other potential conditions that may be
causing the symptoms, doctors are also advised to take
blood tests involving a full blood count, erythrocyte
sedimentation rate, C- Reactive Protein Levels and antibody
tests for Coeliac disease.

If other more serious symptoms are present, which are not
normally a feature of IBS, for example blood in the stools,
weight loss, or a family history of cancer of the bowel or
ovarian cancer, then these patients will referred for
further investigation.

What treatment options are likely to be available?

Doctors will be expected to advise their IBS patients on
their lifestyle and possible changes they can make to their
lifestyle which could help alleviate their IBS symptoms.
They will also offer advice on exercise and on controlling
the symptoms of IBS.

As it is considered beneficial to increase the amount of
fibre in the diet when suffering from IBS, many people in
the past have advocated Bran. Bran is an insoluble fibre
and is now discouraged. People will be advised instead to
consume soluble fibre in the form of cereals like oats and
supplements such as Ispaghula husk.

If diagnosed with IBS and your symptoms are causing you
distress, your doctor is likely to prescribe medication
based on which symptom or symptoms are the most dominant.
This can include antispasmodic medication for muscle cramps
and spasms, laxatives (the use of Lactulose is discouraged)
for constipation, anti diarrhoeal agents for diarrhoea, and
even Tricyclic anti-depressants and the newer type of anti
depressants known as SSRi's or Selective Serotonin Reuptake
Inhibitors for pain and for helping to promote normal bowel
movements.

Do you think you have IBS?

If you suspect that you may be suffering from Irritable
Bowel Syndrome then speak to your doctor for an accurate
diagnosis and advice.

Cardio and Weight Training

Cardio and Weight Training
Many people that want to lose weight tend to use cardio
exercise, as well as switching to a low calorie and
healthier diet in their weight loss program. This is a very
conventional method and of course you will get great
results by this type of weight loss program if you continue
it for a long period of time.

Cardio exercise is basically any exercise that is going to
raise your heart rate and force you to breathe harder for
an extended period of time. Cardio exercise has many
benefits apart from weight loss. Cardio will give you more
stamina and more endurance. It will improve the health of
your heart, and it will improve the ability of your lungs
to the point where your body can receive more oxygen more
easily.

The more oxygen you can get into your body, the more energy
you will have. Cardio will also have a positive effect on
your body's abilities to cope with stress. Cardio exercise
can be performed through various methods such as brisk
walking, jogging, running, cycling, swimming, using a
stepper and so on. The method will depend on your
preference. Cardio exercise will burn plenty of calories
while you are engaged in it, but the burning of calories
will stop shortly after exercise.

There is another method of exercising that you should do
along with cardio in your weight loss program, which will
substantially increase your results. This method is to
start weight training. Many people do not understand the
value and relevance of weight training when it comes to
losing weight. When you are weight training, your
metabolism gets a huge boost. Not only does it burn
calories while you are training, it continues to burn
calories for many hours after you have stopped training.

As we get older we naturally start losing muscle and in
later life this can cause problems with joints, bones and
our abilities to lose weight. So it's important that we do
what we can not only to keep muscle but to increase it
where we can. Weight training is not just about
bodybuilding or power lifting. All types of athletes and
sports people use weight training in their routines, and
they are not all body builders and power lifters.

When you only do cardio, you will lose weight. However much
of this weight will not just be in the form of fat, you
will lose muscle as well. This is something that really
needs to be avoided. The fact is that the more muscle you
have on your body, the more calories you will burn. Your
body often considers muscle as a bit of a luxury, as it
needs to use lots of calories to keep the muscle on your
frame. When you cut back on calories and start cardio, your
body will try to get rid of muscle because it is calorie
expensive. This can actually slow down your abilities to
lose weight.

Weight training has many benefits and should be an
important part of a weight loss program.

Weight training will make you stronger. It will allow your
body to burn more calories. It will offset the natural
muscle loss that comes with age. It will make you look
better. It will protect your bones and joints. It will keep
your body firm and toned. It will make you more confident.

Throughout time a strong physique has received respect.

As you can see weight loss is only one benefit you will
receive from weight training. Everyone should have some
sort of weight training routine in their exercise program
because the benefits of it are too numerous to ignore.

Weight training doesn't have to mean grunting and groaning
in a gym. If you have not trained with weights before or
haven't trained for a long time then you can start with
bodyweight exercise. Weight training is about pushing or
pulling at a weight. Your body can act as this weight
through exercises like push ups, free squats, crunches and
pull ups. Once you feel strong enough or confident enough
to move to proper weights, you can purchase used weights
and bars very cheaply for your home. This will save you the
time and membership fees of going to a gym. You can
substantially increase your results with cardio and weight
training.

Different Types Of Panic Attacks

Different Types Of Panic Attacks
Before we dive into learning the different types of panic
attacks, it may be worthwhile to first clarify the
difference between anxiety and panic. In our daily
communications, people tend to use these two terms
interchangeably without realising their difference. Sure,
these two have lots of in common with respect to their
symptoms, but panic attacks usually last only a short
while, though more intense. As a contrast, anxiety strikes
you more gradually, is less intense, but lasts longer.

Based on whether a panic attack connects to a triggering
situation and how it connects to such situations, panic
attacks are grouped into three types:

1. Unexpected Panic Attacks

This type of attack is often associated with panic
disorder. It occurs spontaneously without any clear
reasons, and irrespective of whether you are relaxing or
working. In other words, no connection can be established
between such spontaneous attack and any particular
situation or place. As you may have seen in the movies,
people can be awakened from sleep with this type of attack.

2. Situationally-bound Panic Attacks

As its name suggests, this type of panic attack is
triggered by a specific situation. For example, if you
fear flying or public speaking, exposure to these
situations will result in immediate panic attacks. This
'cued' attack is rarely experienced in panic disorder.

3. Situationally-predisposed Panic Attacks

This type of panic attack is similar to the above one in
that it is also triggered by a specific situation. However,
the difference is that the attacks only sometimes occur and
may not always occur immediately after exposure to the
feared situation. For example, if flying is your feared
situation, there are times when you take a flight without
having a panic attack. In other times, however, your panic
attack may start after your journey is over for some time.
In other words, you are predisposed to having attacks while
taking flights, but the attacks are not a sure response to
the fear of flying. People with panic disorder may
experience this type of attack.

Among all types of panic attacks, some are merely phobias
over a specific thing but others may be pathological
illnesses. It is reported that approximately 19 million
people in the United States are panic attack sufferers and
they experience a variety of symptoms during panic attacks.
Many, however, do not take panic attacks seriously or
believe they deserve treatment as a medical condition. It
is true that many people who have experience of panic
attacks never have further episodes or complications.
However, you should keep in mind that chronic occurrence of
panic attacks can be a sign of panic disorder, which
deserve immediate medical help. Quite often, major
disorders could prevent a sufferer from pursuing normal
daily routines.

Dependent on the different types and levels of panic
attacks, the actual medical treatments vary. Traditional
medicine, psychotherapy, and alternative medicine and
practices can all be used as ways of treatments. In many
other instances, however, people are able to live with
their panic attacks or use self-help techniques to get out
of the situations.

Favourite Tips on Natural Skin Care With Honey

Favourite Tips on Natural Skin Care With Honey
I would like to share with you some natural skin care
knowledge, one of the most popular topics amongst the
female honey fans, before you spend hundreds or thousands
of dollars on all those anti-aging and moisturising creams.
Try some easy, home-made tonic and remedy with honey first.
And remember, the main ingredient in all those costly skin
care products in the store could be honey!

Really, there may be no simpler way to bring a smooth glow
to your skin than with these DIY honey beauty recipes.
Honey's ability to absorb and retain moisture make it an
ideal ingredient in a lot of cosmetics as it helps keep
skin hydrated and fresh and prevents drying. It is known
that ancient beauties regularly applied a mixture of honey
and milk to the face to keep the skin young-looking,
radiant, and smooth.

Honey's natural antioxidant and anti-microbial properties
help to protect the skin from the damage of the sun's rays,
supports the skin's ability to rejuvenate and refresh
depleted skin, leaving it feeling silky soft and supple.
One of the most common natural skin care benefits with
honey is related to treatment of minor acne acne which
could be caused by hormonal changes or "heatiness in the
body", as traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) would call it
to refer to the imbalance of yin and yang in the body.
Honey absorbs impurities from the pores on the skin, making
it an ideal cleansing agent. With the wide-ranging of
natural skin care recipes, it is no wonder that there
exists a huge number of honey products in the market for
hair care, baby care, skin care for sunscreen, hand
lotions, facial scrubs and moisturizers. And for instance,
the Manuka Honey Lip Balm is an effective and natural
moisturiser. It contains sun protection properties to
soothe and protect the lips from becoming dry and chapped
in cold and dry weather.

6 Pampering Homemade Natural Skin Care Recipes with Honey:

Here are some do-it-yourself, self-help, extremely easy to
follow recipes to enjoy the benefits of honey in skin care.
I recommend them also because all the ingredients that go
along with them are so easily accessible.

1. Cucumber-Honey Toner:

Puree 1 cucumber in a blender, drain and collect the juice.
Add 2 teaspoons of honey into the juice and mix. Pour the
mixture into a bottle. Apply on the face and neck area with
a cotton pad in the morning and at night. Air dry it and
rinse clean. Store the bottle covered in the refrigerator
for up to 1 week.

2. Honey-Apple Toner:

In a blender or food processor, combine 1 peeled, cored
apple with a tablespoon of honey and pulse until smooth.
Apply mixture to face and allow it to stay for 15 minutes,
then rinse.

3. Honey-Oats Face Scrub:

Combine 1 tablespoon honey, 1 tablespoon finely-ground
almonds, 2 tablespoons dry oatmeal, and some lemon juice or
yogurt to a luxurious and exfoliating facial scrub. Massage
mixture gently onto face, then rinse with warm water. This
blend gives a deeply emollient cleansing to the pores of
your face. Almonds and oats are superb softening exfoliants.

4. Gentle Honey Cleanser:

Mix 1⁄4 cup honey, 1 tablespoon liquid soap and
1⁄2 cup glycerin (found in drug stores). Apply gently
on to face using a face sponge. Rinse with warm water and
pat face dry.

5. Hot Honey Bath:

Perhaps the easiest natural skin care recipe using honey --
Add 1/4 cup of honey to your hot bath water for silky and
luscious skin. This is especially good for dry skin.

6. Honey Olive Hair Conditioner:

For lustrous, silky, healthy hair and scalp, simply combine
1/2 cup honey and 2 tablespoons to 1/4 cup olive oil.
Massage scalp with this conditioner, then put on a shower
cap for 30 minutes. Shampoo and rinse as usual. Good for
hair revitalising.

What is Ecdysterone?

What is Ecdysterone?
So what are your goals? For some it is improving their
athletic performance, burn away those love handles, build
lean muscle tissue, and for others improving their overall
health. We know that it does take working out to achieve
our results though we want some help to make our results go
faster.

You have probably heard about sport supplements like
prohormones, creatine, protein powders, and vitamins. Each
one of these products plays a vital role in improving an
aspect of your health, fitness, or performance in some
capacity. Especially, with all the attention from Congress
and Major League Baseball, you have heard about steroids,
and the negative side effects associated with them.

If you though you knew what supplements can do than you
don't know anything now.

Ecdysterone is an exceptionally potent compound that has
been researched and studied in clinical trials for some
time. The best part of ecdysterone is that through all the
research there hasn't been one negative side effect found.
That is right zero negative side effects. Ecdysterone is
rapidly becoming the supplement of choice for health
enthusiast, fitness competitors, and bodybuilders.

What is Ecdysterone?

The technical name for ecdysterone is 20-hydroxyecdysterone
with common names of ecdisten, ecdysone, isoinokosterone,
and ecdysterone. It was first discovered with insects who
require it for survival as part of their own growth hormone.

Ecdysterone doesn't come from insects; it comes from the
herbs rhaponticum/ leuzeae and cyanotis vaga which are all
natural. The biggest issue until now for ecdysterone is
that their was no way to extract it into a usable and
viable form. Now, with the latest in extraction
technology, Scifit has found a way to extract it at a 97%
standardization. This exceptionally high potency makes it
possible now to get the health and muscle mass benefits for
ecdysterone in a supplement.

There has been over 50 research studies on the effects of
ecdysterone. Ecdysterone in clinical trials has been shown
to improve almost every physiological function with
producing any negative side effects. Within 10 days people
have achieve muscle mass gains of 6-7%. That is right just
10 days. Not only that, subjects lower their body fat in
those same ten days. Ecdysterone has become the perfect
fat loss and muscle mass building supplement on the market.

SciFit's Ecdysterone 300 is the only ecdysterone supplement
to be in an useable form. Ecdysterone has been
demonstrated to increase muscle tissue by 6-7% in just 10
days.

How to Build Muscle Size and Strength Fast Using "Death Sets"

How to Build Muscle Size and Strength Fast Using "Death Sets"
If you really want to know how to build muscle size and
strength as fast as humanly possible, study the old-timers.
Long before steroids and the BILLION dollar supplement
industry, there was a time when men trained with nothing
but heavy iron and a gruelling will to build size and
strength. One very distinguishing factor between strength
trainers and bodybuilders of yesterday and today was the
intensity of their training.

One training technique they used that is very rare to see
today is something called "Death Sets." By the name alone,
you can tell they definitely aren't a walk in the park. But
what they give you is results. Real results, and faster
then any supplement or home gym can promise. In fact,
applied properly with the right food to eat to build
muscles, they can very well be the fasted way to build
muscle and gain weight.

I had first read about death sets in a one of the greatest
books ever written on strength training, Dinosaur Training,
by a man named Brooks D. Kubik. If you are a hardgainer, or
someone really serious about training for strength and
size, then death sets can and will slap more pounds of
muscle and strength on your frame then practically any
other way of training. They are perhaps the most intense
type of training you may ever do, but like I said, the
results you get will be like nothing else. So if you
really, really want to learn how to build muscle size and
strength faster then ever before, and aren't afraid of some
hard work, these are for you.

So what exactly are death sets and how do you do them?
Death sets were properly named because they trigger what
Kubik calls the "Grow or Die" mechanism. Unlike
conventional training, they really work you closer to your
absolute limit like nothing else. Basically, death sets are
heavy, high rep training. Sounds like a paradox, doesn't
it? Normally, you either train with heavy weight and low
reps, or with lighter weight and high reps. So how in the
world do you train with heavy weight and still do a high
amount of reps? Two factors: certain compound exercises and
mental toughness. Death sets are not meant for your smaller
muscle groups like arms or neck, but rather for the big
muscle groups such as your legs and lower back.

Though you can apply death sets with most larger muscle
groups, performing squats or deadlifts with them are by far
the most gruelling, but effective. Since our legs can
withstand much more physical endurance then the rest of our
body, (given that we walk and stand on them all day long)
it is very hard to reach their limit. And your body will do
everything it can to get your mind to quit before your
body. But you have to train your mind to withstand pain and
accomplish your goal. Even though squats and deadlifts are
known as mainly leg exercises, you can no doubt expect your
whole body to grow. The intensity will include your whole
body to come into action, and as a result the rest of your
muscles will benefit, especially doing stiff-legged
deadlifts.

Some examples of death sets are 15, 20 and even up to 30
reps of squats or deadlifts, but with HEAVY weight. Heavy
enough to where you feel finished at the tenth rep. But
this is where your will power and focus come into play.
This is a good test of your mental strength, because as
soon as you even think about quitting or giving up, your
body will do it. This is why it is so important to mentally
prep yourself before the set, and to stay in that animal
instinct throughout the whole set.

The good news is that you only have to do one of these sets
per exercise, two at the maximum. But after you are
finished you will feel completely wiped out. You may throw
up or feel like passing out, but as long as you complete
the set and make sure to nourish your body after with
plenty of good food and rest, your body will grow. You
certainly won't grow overnight, this is at least a two
month process; but if you work hard enough and build up to
heavy enough weight, your body will literally transform.
Your mental toughness will also develop and you will
eventually become as tough as nails both physically and
mentally. Now that's a true strength trainer!

So if you got the guts, give these a try, but remember not
to do too many other exercises in your program along with
them. You can very easily over train with these, especially
if you are a hardgainer. Just a couple other major compound
exercises for your upper body should be plenty, and don't
neglect proper nutrition and plenty of rest or you will be
completely wasting your time and effort. This is perhaps
the best way on how to build muscle size and strength fast.
