Blood Circulation And Intimacy

Blood Circulation And Intimacy
The search for improved intimacy has likely reached an
apex: there are any number of intimacy enhancement products
on the market, including prescription treatments. Though
intimacy enhancement seems more popular now than ever, the
truth of the matter is that intimacy enhancement has been a
matter of concern for centuries. Since very early recorded
history, people have been searching for the perfect
aphrodisiac.

The emphasis for better intimacy has often taken an outside
in approach: the goal has typically been to find some item
or other that could be ingested or applied and produce
magical intimacy results. What is often overlooked when
taking this approach however is the role physical health
plays in intimate functioning. The reality is that in order
for intimacy to take place at all, the body must be at a
decent level of functioning and health.

One of the most critical aspects of bodily function in the
role of intimacy is blood circulation. Penis and vaginal
stimulation cannot take place if blood flow has been
significantly compromised. There are methods for attempting
to overcome blood circulation interfering with intimacy,
including pumps, topical applications, and the most well
known treatment for circulatory problems that there is:
Viagra.

Viagra and the other erectile dysfunction treatments are in
fact blood circulation enhancers. Viagra was actually
originally meant to be treatment for heart ailment, with an
emphasis on improved blood circulation. The blood
circulation properties in Viagra however were found to
successfully improve male genitalia blood circulation to
such an extent that it allowed for sexual functioning where
it was exceptionally difficult or impossible to achieve
previously. The enhancement of blood circulation from all
erectile dysfunction treatments is why these drugs are
prohibited for people with high blood pressure: they would
increase blood circulation where it’s already high,
resulting in a possible serious medical condition.

The best method for ensuring good blood circulation so that
intimacy can normally take place is by maintaining good
overall health. Conditions that affect blood circulation
flow, such as diabetes, are often directly correlated to a
person’s health state. Though a person can be born
with a diabetic condition, diabetes is now frequently
occurring in people because of years of bad health habits.
Obesity is a primary factor in onset diabetes and may
increase the likelihood of sterility because of increased
body heat about the stomach and into the genital area. As a
general rule then, good health is good for intimacy.

How To Pick Your Implant Size At Home

How To Pick Your Implant Size At Home
Have you ever thought about having larger breasts? Have you
researched breast augmentation or possibly even had a
consultation with a board certified cosmetic surgeon? If
so, then you have probably wondered what size would be
right for you.

The following information is designed to help you discover
what size you would like to be in the privacy of your own
home! By following these simple steps you have the freedom
to try on many different sizes and wear them around for as
long as you would like. This experiment will give you more
freedom to try out different volumes in the privacy of your
own home.

For many women, cc’s does not mean anything to them
and they tend to speak in cup sizes, not volumes. Breast
implants that are used in breast augmentations are filled
according to the volume of the implant, which is done
cc’s. We know that for most women this will not give
them any idea of what cup size that would be for them. That
is why by following these instructions you can get an idea
of the volume range that works best for you.

So, in order to try this at home for yourself here is what
you will need:

•Qt. size baggies (preferably that zip closed)

•Measuring cup with Milliliters (Milliliters is the
same as cc’s)

•Sharpie pen

•Sports bra

You can use the bathroom or kitchen, just find a place that
has a faucet and counter top to set your supplies out.The
first thing you want to do is put on your sports bra. Get
near a faucet that allows you some counter space to lay
your supplies on. Depending on your current anatomy and
what size you think you would like to be you want to fill
your measuring cup with WARM water using the milliliters
side. Milliliters are the same as cc’s, so for
example, a 300 cc implant is the same as a 300 ml of water.

Pick a starting volume and fill baggie with warm water.
When done, try to get out as much air as possible. Fill 2
baggies (one for each side) and then place them inside your
bra. It might be helpful to keep track of the volumes you
are using and what you like.

It’s as simple as that! Have fun experimenting with
different sizes and make sure that you try them on with
some shirts also so that you get a better idea of what the
changes would mean to you!

You Can Look Younger and Better!

You Can Look Younger and Better!
We all want to look younger and better, don’t we? Of
course we do. Nowadays, “looking good” means
“looking young”. You may be on a diet to lose
weight, working out in a gym, getting your hair or nails
done, dying your hair to hide the grey, buying a new
outfit, or even having plastic surgery to help turn back
the hands of time. There are a lot of things you can do to
make yourself look good, but nothing makes you look better
than a beautiful smile! If you want to boost your self
confidence and change the way others look at you, the first
place you might want to start is with your smile. Having an
attractive smile is one of the first things people notice.
We all know how important first impressions are when
we’re trying to land a new job or impress a member of
the opposite sex. A cosmetic dental makeover can open doors
to opportunities you never thought possible.

Are you happy with your smile or do you go out of your way
not to smile? Are your teeth chipped, cracked, discolored
or worn-down? Do you have spaces between your teeth or are
they crowded and crooked? Perhaps you only want to whiten
your smile to get that sparkle back. Modern dentistry has
come a long way, so there is no reason not to have the
smile you always dreamed of.

Some procedures that can transform your smile include
bleaching, bonding, veneers, braces, tooth colored
fillings, cosmetic recontouring, implants, gums lifts,
crowns and bridges. Bleaching can give you a bright white
smile. One method is to have your teeth bleached in a
dental office. You can whiten your teeth an average of six
shades lighter in just one hour. Some of the more popular
brands are BriteSmile, Zoom, and Rembrandt. Another method
is to wear custom trays with a whitening gel. This method
will lighten your teeth in a few weeks to a few months. I
personally recommend both.

If you need to change the shape of your teeth porcelain
veneers may be what you’re looking for. In just two
visits veneers can make your teeth perfectly straight and
white. Veneers are made of porcelain and are about as thin
as a contact lens. Some name brands are Lumineers, Da
Vinci, and Mac veneers.

Braces are not just for children any more and might just be
one of the best ways to achieve your dream smile. New
techniques allow your teeth to move quicker than in the
past. Another alternative is Invisalign invisible braces.
Invisalign is a series of clear aligners that move your
teeth. To find out what procedures are right for you
stop by your dentist. You just might leave in one hour with
a whiter brighter smile.

Why You Need To Write Your Own Get Well Message

Why You Need To Write Your Own Get Well Message
It can be hard to know what to write in a get well card,
especially if someone is undergoing a long illness.
Normally, we send a card when we first hear news of someone
being unwell. It's natural to want to send greetings and
words of love and support at this time, but as an illness
gets drawn out, we can be at a loss to know how to continue
with our encouragement.

It all rests of course with our ties to the one we're
thinking of. They will know how sincere we are in our
words, and greetings taken from other sources always need
to be made personal.

There are a whole heap of places to find words to include
in cards, and letters. Sometimes our own words may seem
inadequate, but truthfully, words from our heart are
usually the most genuine, and certainly the best to offer
at times of illness.

Don't be concerned that your ability to put some words
together is less than perfect. It's much more important to
receive a card with a personal message than one that is
pre-printed and off the shelf.

It's easy to put so much emphasis on what to say that we
forget that the words are all tied up in the way we offer
them. By that I mean, how we actually share these words
verbally with our sick friend or family member.

Think about it. In giving a card we usually also
re-iterate the thoughts it contains. We often talk about
what we wrote, and re-affirm our feelings for their
recovery. Not only do they read the words, they hear a
similar version spoken. These two together confirm in their
minds the level of the thoughts that you put into the card
writing and giving. If the sincerity of the words written
and the words spoken don't match up, then something is
wrong.

Choosing a verse, or a message from other sources may get
us out of writing something ourselves. But is that really
what matters here? Would your sick friend or family member
prefer to hear someone else's words, or would they rather
hear your words. Because be in no doubt, as they read your
words, they will hear them too, imagining you saying them.

It's not an easy option writing something from the heart
and with genuine emotion, often because we are so used to
platitudes. It's the done thing to send love, best wishes,
hopes for a speedy recover. Far more powerful are words
that almost lay us bare, emotionally. No it's not easy to
say:

When I heard you were sick I sat and thought how much you
meant to me I'm sending you my love and energy to be with
you as you recover I am here for you, as you have always
been for me

It takes strength to open your heart to another because it
makes us vulnerable. But this is just the time to do it,
because a loved one of ours needs to know that they aren't
alone. It's not easy but it is, as my Father would have
said character forming. It's times of honest card writing
when we have the opportunity to show how we care. But few
of us it seems are up for it.

Yes, it's easier to look for a verse to do the business for
us. And if that is your route match your selection of
words or verse with your intent of what you want it say.
Bear in mind your relationship to the recipient.

Do the words sit comfortably with you? Are they words that
they would expect to hear from you? Is the message
uplifting? Is it from a text that they would welcome? Does
it say the right thing?

Think of them and what would make them feel loved and
appreciated after all. It's far less important that you
are impressed with the text! Remember, they are likely to
read and re-read your card many times so be careful in the
words you choose and let them match the message you feel
unable to write yourself.

Whole Food Nutrition - the Facts

Whole Food Nutrition - the Facts
When we take a vitamin supplement, one of our main concerns
or questions should be about bioavailablity.
Bioavailability, in simple terms, is the rate at which the
nutrients of a vitamin supplement can be absorbed by our
bodies. If the supplement is not absorbed then our
body’s cells do not benefit from taking the
supplement. We actually flush the vitamin supplement down
the drain.

While our cells may not be able to determine the difference
between sources of molecules coming from vitamins,
minerals, and other nutrients, our digestive tract can tell
the difference between sources. Most of the vitamin
supplements in pill form are combined with compounds such
as citrates, sulfides, sulfates, chlorides, and so on.
These compounds dissolve at different rates and scientists
argue as to which of them the body absorbs more easily.
Interestingly, the benchmark to which they compare
absorption rates of these compounds is to that of a
‘whole food.’ Bottom line is that our
digestive tracts knows how to readily digest real food
(whole food) and often has difficulty digesting synthetic
(man-made) pills.

Whole foods contain hundreds of phytonutrients.
Phytonutrients are nutrients that come from plants. A
supplement made from a whole plant, rather than extracting
elements from it, is called a whole food supplement. A
whole food supplement is more potent than extracting
nutrients from a plant. When we leave a whole food’s
nutrients intact, we get potent nutrition from smaller
doses. Whole food supplements help our bodies’
immune system fight against heart disease, cancer,
diabetes, and other chronic illness because the whole food
provides the nutrients our bodies need in the battle
against these diseases or illnesses.

In addition to being a whole food, we want the vitamin
supplement in ionic form. Ionic means that it has the
correct ‘charge’ to be readily absorbed by our
intestinal tracts. Our intestinal tracts are charged and
food particles must have an opposite ionic charge to be
quickly absorbed into our bodies. Look for ionic in the
description of your next liquid nutritional supplement to
achieve maximum absorption rates.

Finally, a note about the Food and Drug
Administration’s (FDA) Daily Recommended Allowances
for nutrients is based on a 2,000 calorie diet. The FDA
has identified only 33 nutrients out of more than 100,000
different types of phytonutrients. How many oranges should
you eat to get the FDA daily allowance of vitamin C? How
many bananas to meet the potassium requirement? These are
trick questions. Whole foods do not have a label
indicating the FDA daily allowance because they are whole
foods – not synthetic vitamins. To put a label that
meets the FDA requirement would mean the addition of a
synthetic vitamin. And which one of us wants our whole
food from the market or our whole food supplement injected
with something artificial?

Why bodybuilding is for women too

Why bodybuilding is for women too
Female bodybuilding enthusiasts have been told for a long
time that "women do not belong in bodybuilding." Many
argued it was a man's sport. Many women also believed that
it was not feminine to lift weights. They did not want to
"bulk up" like men and wanted to keep their body in
proportion. After a long time, women bodybuilders are now
taken seriously. The attitude of women in bodybuilding is
changing.

A large number of women today are breaking out of this
stereotype. They are taking up bodybuilding and fitness
training at advanced professional levels. All sorts of
different body types are taking part in regular
bodybuilding competitions around the country. Young and
old alike are discovering they will still be feminine,
beautiful, fit and in great shape all at once. They are
not taking "no" for an answer.

Women often hesitate taking up bodybuilding because they
are afraid of looking like a man. This could not be
further from the truth. Women, no matter how much bulk
they manage to put on their bodies, will never look like a
man due to different structures, hormones and genetics.
Many women bodybuilders are beautiful women with defined
tones and maintain their soft bodies. Exercising
consciously with a well defined goal will guarantee the
type of toned muscular body they are seeking. Women must
stop comparing themselves to men in the bodybuilding arena.
Also, comparing themselves with other women can lead to a
false sense of not being bulked up enough. You are who you
are for a reason.

Many men find muscular, toned women quite attractive. The
self confidence a woman puts forth is catching on in the
bodybuilding world. Women can boost their level of
confidence to a very large extent by applying bodybuilding
skills. Do not worry about the different statures between
men and women. The woman's body will never become as big
as a man's bulky muscles.

Many women tell us they feel more confident and more in
control than ever before due to the bodybuilding efforts
they have slowly refined over the years.

Tall or thin, slight or bigger boned, does not make a
difference in results reaped from bodybuilding.
Bodybuilding is not the same thing for everyone. Different
bodies react to stresses and weights in a different way.
Genetics will play a role in the bulking of muscles.
Smaller framed women will start out with lower weights.
This will guarantee they do not get hurt when done
correctly. Larger framed women can start at medium
weights. They too should perform correct exercise with the
weights to avoid injury.

You will find a great impact in the bodybuilding niche no
matter what your goals or final objectives you defined.
Amateurs to professionals, the bodybuilding circle of
people are known to help each other for the common good.
The contests are in good spirit and many of the contest
winners personally know and train with the others.

The days are over when women bodybuilding is considered a
lesser sport. Respect is earned now by many women
bodybuilders in every aspect of the sport. Women are
taking charge of their bodies, celebrating their successes
and proving the female body builds muscles beautifully. Go
forth women and lift!

10 Powerful Health Reasons to Know More about Limu Moui

10 Powerful Health Reasons to Know More about Limu Moui
10 powerful health reasons why you need to know more about
Limu Moui “Knowledge of the oceans is more important
than just a matter of curiosity. Our very survival may
hinge upon it.” President John Kennedy, 1961

What is the preventative health value of sea plants or
vegetables, as exemplified by Limu Moui? What do you know
about this wonder plant considered to be the 3000 year old
health secret of the South Pacific? To best value and
respect Limu, it’s important to relate it to a wider
“concept-map” in the context of 10 reasons,
each reason comprising major fields of studies but which
are only mentioned here.

ONE: THE RICHEST COMPLEX BIOME ON EARTH…THE OCEAN.
Physically and chemically, it covers ¾ of the
Earth’s surface and houses 15,000 plants and 210,000
known marine life forms. The nutrient profile, developed
through eons, which nurtures these living forms are
estimated between 60 and 100 different elements. Scientists
have yet to manufacture in a lab a bottle of sea water and
if they could, it would probably cost thousands of
dollars. Most interesting, the elements that circulate in
the ocean are similar to what is found in human plasma. Our
body is 70% salt water with blood containing all the
minerals and trace elements found in the ocean.

TWO: MARINE MACROALGAE or seaweed. These range from forests
of 212 foot kelp to microscopic plankton. Three kinds of
seaweed are brown, red and green, at least 50 varieties of
which are used as food. Seaweed lack true stems, leaves or
roots but have strong anchoring supports from which to
absorb ocean nutrients through their plant tissue. It is
the food chain for all marine animal life such as fish
which is still the major source of protein for millions of
people. Seaweed agricultural industry is growing to supply
alginates especially for food, pharmaceutical and
industrial uses.

THREE: BROWN ALGAE CALLED ANGEL HAIR SEAWEED or LIMU MOUI.
It grows along shorelines and in vast
fields as masses of filaments that grow 1 to 2 feet a day
to lengths of 20 feet. Limu is considered one of the most
nutrient dense foods, easier to process and more
bioavailable than larger broad leaved forms of brown algae
with a lot of fiber. One of the best wild sources of Limu
Moui comes from the archipelago of Tonga, arguably the most
pristine uncontaminated area consisting of 170 islands, few
which are inhabited. The Tongan people routinely consume
Limu and have long been known for their superior longevity,
disease resistance and overall body strength.

FOUR: SPECTACULAR NUTRITIONAL VALUE OF SEA PLANTS (ex.
Limu) They’ve been prized for dietary and medicinal
food properties for millennia; and science can now validate
them as rich sources of proteins, enzymes, amino and fatty
acids, vitamins and anti-oxidants, glyconutrients,
polyphenols, and alginates. For example, briefly consider
the mineral riches of ocean plants that can re-mineralize
our bodies. The major minerals are found: calcium,
magnesium, phosphorous, potassium and sulfur. A wealth of
trace minerals are also absorbed: boron, chlorides,
chromium, cobalt, copper, fluorine, gallium, germanium,
gold, iodine, iron, lanthanum, lithium, manganese,
molybdenum, nickel, selenium, silica, silver, sodium, zinc,
tin, vanadium plus at least 40 more. Moreover, these
minerals are in natural colloidal and organic or chelated
forms(combined with amino acids) and easily absorbed
through cell walls unlike metallic minerals that can
accumulate in body tissues. Most enzymatic functions depend
on minute amounts of bioavailable trace minerals; one key
to maintain health is keeping the mineral levels in balance
in every tissue, fluid, cell and organ. Without minerals
for transport, vitamins are ineffective. As soils become
minerally depleted, the seas are looked upon as more
minerally enriched.

FIVE: THE OCEAN’S GIFT …AN ESSENTIAL
BIOLOGICALLY ACTIVE COMPOUND CALLED FUCOIDAN. This unique
molecule is found only in the cell walls of certain brown
sea plants (even some echinoderms). However, Tongan Limu
has one of the highest Fucoidan concentrations. In
nutritional chemical terms, Fucoidan is described as a
sulfated polysaccharide molecule made up several different
polymers and “decorated” with sulphate groups.
Research shows that the higher the count of sulphate groups
in a plant, the higher its unique therapeutic value. In
layman’s terms, it is the Fucoidan that gives Limu
its slippery texture…a moisture protection barrier
that allows the algae to survive in harsh environments.
What if Limu and Fucoidan may just be the extra nutritional
fuel we need to better cope with an increasingly toxic
environment?

SIX: ONE OF THE MOST ANALYZED and VALIDATED SCIENTIFIC
DISCOVERIES OF OUR TIME… FUCOIDAN Most bionutritional
research is relatively new and exciting (seconds old on a
24 hour medical timeline). The synergy of hundreds of
phytonutrients or natural biochemicals found in individual
plants reveal a wide array of beneficial biological
benefits for cellular health. For example, in the last 8
years, nearly 400 more studies have been added to the
previous 300 on Fucoidan as the medical community has
wondered how it appears to address some major health
concerns, including many that seem to confound modern
medicine.

SEVEN: EMPOWER YOUR IMMUNE SYSTEM “Whether or not a
person contracts any disease or illness has less to do with
their exposure to that disease and much more with how
effectively their immune system is functioning at the time
they are exposed…(World Health organization.) Our own
first-line defense is our innate immune system programmed
to protect against chronic health problems and premature
aging. More ongoing research is aimed at multi-targeted
therapies to better understand how the body can naturally
recuperate, protect or heal itself when given total
nutrients and healthy immune system (versus monotherapies
or using one substance to treat a single symptom.) The
health benefits of Fucoidan, particularly, in supporting
the immune system such as stimulating natural killer cells
and B-Cells are well discussed in independent, third party,
peer reviewed studies.

EIGHT: SCIENCE SPEAKS FOR ITSELF No medicinal claims are
allowed with natural plants so it’s important that
you challenge yourself to be your own serious health
detective. One can’t assume to have all the answers
to better health while walking away from this unprecedented
research. Three best references are: ---Limu Moui by Rita
Elkins (call 800 777 2665 Woodland Publishing)
---Breakthroughs in Health (Wellness Success Media
Oct.2006) ---The National Library of Medicine
(government’s database)

www.pubmed.org Enter
fucoidan in the search box. Then enter specific conditions
and note the number of studies. Example: Fucoidan
anti-inflammatory (22 studies) viral (10) blood (274)
liver (31) digestive system (40) bacteria (79)
cancer (53) stem cells(24) heart (11) brain (30)
kidneys (11) skin(16)

NINE: CHOICE OF DIETARY SUPPLEMENT This choice is one of
your most important health decisions which must verify
three things: from where it’s sourced, how the
contents are manufactured and what scientific studies
endorse it. Current market trends are embracing whole food
extracts as synergistic, non synthetic, non-fractionated
super food supplements. Sometimes it’s hard to trust
a plethora of labels and advertisements, but you can trust
what Nature has composed without laboratories and private
enterprises. In its natural edible form, Limu offers
remarkable nutritive, immune-building and disease-fighting
properties. As an extract, it promises an even wider
variety of therapeutic applications.

TEN: RETURN TO NATURE’S BASICS. What would you prefer
as you grow older…a vibrant healthy lifestyle or a
hopeless daily struggle against aches and pains? Health
is a lifelong process of prevention and commitment to
wellness. Believe the good news that your body’s
programmed to be healthy…sickness is an unnatural
state. Feed every cell a full spectrum of nutrients daily.
Respect Nature’s biology, ecology and immemorial
wisdom and how you are an essential part of it.

Will Stress Take You Down?

Will Stress Take You Down?
Why does stress overwhelm some people while others come
through it just fine? A very elegant new study came out
this month in the high impact scientific journal, Cell,
addressing this question. Researchers investigated some
brain functions underlying why some people are highly
susceptible to stress and others seem relatively resistant.
Although the studies were done in mice, the potential
application to humans, which I will discuss below, is not a
stretch.

Stress can lead to depression . . . sometimes

The researchers used a basic model to stress mice by
placing them in the same cage with a ‘bully’
mouse for about 15 minutes a day, for ten days in a row.
This experimental paradigm is accepted as a model for how
humans experience social stress; for example interacting
with a jerk for a boss at work, or at bully at school.

After exposure to this social stress, researchers tested
the mice for other behaviors that indicate depression,
anxiety or stress disorders. Yes, mice and rats can show
these behaviors if you know how to look for them.

We can’t give them a questionnaire to explore how the
feel. But we can look at things like how willing they are
to work for a reward (like sugar water) or how adventurous
they are at exploring new environments or new social
interactions. All of these are indicators of
‘mood’.

Whenever researchers do these types of studies there is
always a variety of responses from the animals. Some will
be susceptible to the bullying treatment and show signs of
depression behavior and others will be resilient.

Sometimes it’s good to forget

The new studies looked at the underlying neurochemistry in
a part of the brain called the VTA, which regulates mood,
and found something very interesting. Mice that had lower
activity of a specific brain hormone, called BDNF, in the
mood regulating brain region were more resilient.

The paradox is that BDNF is important for learning and
memory and mice that are low in BDNF activity typically
have learning and memory problems. The new study suggests
that under some conditions (i.e. stress) being a poor
learner is an advantage because you won’t get too
hung up on the bad experience.

The mice in these experiments were, in a sense,
predetermined to be susceptible or resilient to stress
based on their learning skills. The point is that you have
certain predispositions as to whether or not you will
succumb to bad experiences and develop a stress disorder.

Can you blame it on your brain chemistry?

This seems a bit fatalistic to me, and I like to believe
that humans have more control. We have a big cortex, which
is the part of the brain that allows us to reason. We can
choose how much value we put on an experience and alter the
ability to learn.

Learning anything requires some degree of salience. The
more important or the stronger we feel about an experience
the better it will be burned into our memories. So how does
this help?

With practice, we can control the intensity of our emotions
in any given situation. We can, in a sense, choose if an
experience will have a long-term effect. The stronger the
experience, the more difficult it will be to exert control,
but it is still there.

For example, participating in battle in war is an extremely
strong experience and our ability to control our
susceptibility to that will be limited. Whereas having
someone call you a bad name should be much easier to get
over and forget about.

Still, some people can come through war with few
psychological problems while others may develop a stress
disorder. On the other end of the spectrum, someone may be
distraught for a lifetime over a getting their feelings
hurt once.

You don’t lack control

The point I am trying to make is that, with a practice of
optimism you can tip the scales in favor of being
resilient. You can, to some degree, use your cortex
(reason) to remove the emotional strength of a bad
experience and make it more difficult for that experience
to take you down.

I make this point because the media jumped quickly on the
conclusions from the new study that indicated a
‘predetermined’ response to handling stress. I
see a dangerous trend in many neuroscience studies trying
to blame behavior on our brain chemistry. While this may be
true in animals, I don’t believe that people are that
‘hard-wired’ and think we need to maintain a
greater standard of personal responsibility.

1. Squats- This exercise not only targets the glutes and
depending what position you are in they can activate your
upper thighs. To perform a squat you would pretend as if
you are going to sit down on a chair, with feet shoulder
width apart, knees bent, and hold weights at your side.
It’s important to keep your head up and back straight
and keep your feet pointed straight ahead. If your feet
are pointed outward it may cause your hips to be tight.
The deeper you go, the more you feel your glutes activated.
Do anywhere from 8-15 repetitions. Another version of the
squat is called a pop squat. This is similar to a squat,
using no weight. Simply stay in a squat position with
knees bent and jump up and pull your feet together and jump
out with feet apart and repeat this movement. Perform
15-30 repetitions. To make this more challenging swing
your arms all the way up when you jump up and try jumping
up as high as you can off the ground. A few sets of these
and you will be seeing your butt looking slim and sexy in
no time.

2. Single Leg Deadlift- This exercise requires balance.
Start out with a lighter weight until you get the hang of
it. Stand on one leg, with a slightly bent knee and the
other leg off the ground and straight back. Bend at your
waist and hold a weight on the same side that you are going
down on. As you bend at your waist, make sure the weight
is in front of your leg. The idea is to touch the weight to
the ground or as close as possible, then come back up and
repeat. Perform 8-15 repetitions and switch legs. Since you
are doing this exercise on one leg at a time you are
actually doing twice the work, which means twice the burn
towards a slim and sexy butt.

3. Lunges-These are great for shaping the whole leg all the
way up to your butt. You can perform what is called a
walking lunge with weights or without. If you are doing
this with weights, you would hold the weights by your side
and walk. Make sure as you walk you are bending your knee
and lunging forward. Keep you head up and back straight.
Also, make sure that your knee doesn’t go over your
toe. Count on each leg moving forward about 16-20 steps
and back, this is equal to 1 set. There are other ways you
can perform a lunge. Another way is to do them in place and
alternate between each leg.

Doing these top 3 exercises are the most effective for a
slim and sexy butt, and also burn a lot of calories.
Forget about doing leg lifts, these just don’t
produce the results to a firm butt, since they don’t
activate the glute muscles as they should. If you stick
with these simple exercises you will get results.

The Role of Essential Fatty Acids in ADHD

The Role of Essential Fatty Acids in ADHD
There has been a lot of talk in the world lately about the
role of fatty acids in health. Just to clear the air a
little bit, I want to discuss briefly what fatty acids are
and how they function.

Fats are made up of several different classes of fatty
acids. There are three classes of fatty acids that occur
in nature.

The first class is the saturated fatty acids, which can be
divided further into short, medium, and long-chain fatty
acids. The second class is the monounsaturated fatty
acids. The third class is the polyunsaturated fatty acids.

There is a fourth class called trans-fatty acids, which for
the most part do not occur in nature. These are
unsaturated fatty acids that have been chemically altered
by food manufacturers in order to increase the shelf life
of fat-containing products. This is what is produced when
the manufacturer makes partially hydrogenated oils.

Trans-fatty acids are shaped differently than their natural
counterparts. This means that when the body incorporates
them into body structures, they change the shape of that
structure and do not function as well as their natural
counterpart.

In the last forty years, there has been a tremendous amount
of misinformation published about the role of fats in
health. It is impossible to go over all the information at
this time. To summarize briefly, probably everything you
have ever heard about the dangers of saturated fat and
dietary cholesterol is completely wrong.

However, almost all of the ills that have been attributed
to saturated fat and dietary cholesterol are in fact caused
by dietary trans-fatty acids. Sure this is a sweeping
generalization. It is surprisingly and unfortunately
fairly accurate.

How did all this misinformation happen?

It is actually a result of a very successful 40-year
marketing campaign conducted by the commercial food
industry. Lest you get the impression that I am a
bleeding-heart liberal anti-establishment organic
vegetarian health food fanatic freak (when actually I am
not even a registered Democrat), you have to understand
what happened.

If you check the processed foods in your house, you will
find that almost all of them contain partially hydrogenated
vegetable oils. The commercial food industry runs on
partially hydrogenated vegetable oils. The reason is that
these processed oils do not get rancid.

Regular vegetable oil goes bad very quickly. However,
hydrogenated vegetable oil doesn’t go bad.
Therefore, in order to give processed foods a long shelf
life, the food industry uses hydrogenated vegetable oil.
Without them, most foods would have a shelf life of only a
few days.

How did the industry go about promoting the use of
hydrogenated vegetable oils?

When these oils first came out there were a few initial
favorable studies that also condemned the evils of
saturated fats. Armed with these studies, the commercial
oil industry launched a campaign to promote vegetable oils
as healthy.

The results were that saturated animal fats and cholesterol
were labeled bad and polyunsaturated oils labeled good.
The partial hydrogenation/trans-fatty acid issue was swept
under the table.

Now, forty years later, with the increase of obesity and
chronic disease, we are beginning to realize that the real
culprit is the trans-fatty acids provided by the commercial
food industry.

Essential Fatty Acids

There are two essential fatty acids, linoleic acid and
alpha-linolenic acid. They are classified as omega-6 and
omega-3 fatty acids, respectively. The body needs these
fatty acids, but is unable to manufacture them. They can
only be obtained through diet.

The minimum amount of linoleic acid thought to be required
is 2-3% of the daily caloric intake. The minimum amount of
alpha-linolenic acid required is .5-1.5% of the daily
caloric intake.

There are other conditionally essential fatty acids that
the body can make. However, there are a number of
interfering factors, such as foods, health conditions or
genetic dispositions, which make these fatty acids dietary
essentials for some people.

The conditionally essential fatty acids include
gamma-linolenic acid, arachidonic acid, eicosapentaenoic
acid, and docosahexaenoic acid.

Essential and conditionally essential fatty acids play a
vital role in the body. They are chemical precursors to a
number of hormone regulators, called prostaglandins.
These, along with other fats, make up the structural matrix
of every cell in the body.

Cell membranes are made primarily of lipids. Dietary fat is
essential for proper absorption of certain vitamins and
other nutrients.

Fatty acids are a structural component of all brain cells,
the blood-brain barrier, and the myelin sheath that wraps
around nerves. All cell membranes, including nerve cell
membranes, are composed of phospholipids, which contain
large amounts of polyunsaturated fatty acids.

Fatty acids help with nerve transmission. They are
necessary for proper growth and are the basic building
blocks of the prostaglandins that are essential for normal
brain function. The brain is 25% fat. Much of this fat is
in the form of essential fatty acids.

Essential Fatty Acid Deficiencies

So, why do we need to know all this? It is important to
realize that the average person is deficient in essential
fatty acids.

It is also known that there is a relationship between brain
function, mental health, and fatty acid intake. Depression
is clearly related to fatty acid deficiencies. Low
cholesterol is a risk factor for suicide.

Since fatty acid deficiency plays a significant role in
other psychiatric conditions, it was thought that it might
be involved in ADHD.

There is good reason to suspect this. Symptoms of fatty
acid deficiency include eczema, dry skin, asthma, thirst,
frequent urination, and allergies. It just so happens that
all of these symptoms are common in ADHD children. Also,
males need more fatty acids than females. There is a 3:1
male to female ratio in ADHD.

Therefore, it was thought there might be a relationship
between fatty acid deficiency and ADHD. A number of
studies have been done, and it does seem that such a
relationship does exist in a certain segment of ADHD
children.

Studies show that children who have deficiencies in omega-3
have more behavioral, learning, and health problems than do
normal children. It is interesting to note that children
with low levels of omega-6 fatty acids do not have these
problems. They do, however, have more colds and used
antibiotic more frequently than their normal peers.

Does Giving Essential Fatty Acid Supplements Help in ADHD?

This really is the question. Can we use essential fatty
acids to treat our ADHD children? This question has been
studied extensively.

Though there is some disagreement among researchers the
bulk of the evidence seems to indicate that fatty acid
supplementation will not help relieve ADHD.

Does that mean that you should not give your ADHD child
essential fatty acids supplements?

It depends. If your child has any of the symptoms of fatty
acid deficiency, such as eczema, dry skin, asthma, thirst,
frequent urination, or allergies then I think it is worth a
try.

You may not see a big improvement in his ADHD, but you
probably will see significant improvement in his other
symptoms, particularly eczema and asthma. You certainly
will not harm your ADHD child, or for that matter your
other children, by giving extra essential fatty acids.

One thing I would stress is that you do not try to limit
your child’s dietary intake of healthy fats.

Remember what I wrote earlier about trans-fatty acids and
hydrogenated oils. Your children should avoid them and you
should avoid them.

You should give your children whole milk rather than skim
milk for milk drinkers and feed them plenty of eggs. Even
though there has been a lot of bad press about saturated
fat and cholesterol in these products, it is becoming clear
that most of this information was incorrect.

Your child needs healthy fats for the proper development of
his brain. You should make sure he gets what he needs.

Conclusion

There are numerous other nutritional modalities that do
make a difference both in ADHD and in general health.

As I said earlier, I am unable to deal adequately with the
other nutritional modalities that would help so many
children with ADHD. You should realize, however, ADHD
children suffer from nutritional deficiencies more than
other children, and it is likely that these deficiencies
have a lot to do with why they have ADHD.

Your Best Penis Enlargement Methods

Your Best Penis Enlargement Methods
Every day, it feels like there are more and more penis
enlargement methods available to you. It seems that there
are about a thousand types of penis enlargement surgeries
alone, plus pills and patches and exercises and devices.
But which is best. Which will truly work for you?

The answer to that question is far from simple. The best
penis enlargement method for you depends on many factors.
How much work do you want to put into a penis enlargement
program? How much risk of failure (or even permanent
damage) are you willing to take? What is your ultimate
goal: a longer flaccid penis, a wider or longer erect
penis, or both?

Here, we’ll go over a few of your penis enlargement
options, their results, and, of course, their risks.

Surgery. Surgery is the riskiest, and, of course, most
invasive procedure. The cons of surgery are clear:
it’s dangerous. With some surgeries, there’s
actually a high risk of the penis being shortened. Combine
that with frequent, embarrassing doctor’s visits,
pain, and maintenance, and you have… well, not a very
nice experience. It does work, but mostly just affects the
girth or the flaccid penis length.

Pumps. Pumps actually do work. But there are some downsides
to using them. In reality, they’re dangerous, and
you’re not going to get any privacy when using them.
Pumps work for only a very short time-- essentially, only
long enough to begin having sex. Then you’ll have to
pull it out and re-pump, so you’d better be
comfortable doing it in front of your girl. Pumps
haven’t been proven to provide permanent gains, and
the temporary gains made are mostly in girth, not length.

Stretchers. Of the penis enlargement methods that actually
work, penis stretchers/extenders are probably the safest.
While they are more expensive than some other methods,
there is very little risk involved in using them, and men
report permanent gains in both length and girth.

Following a traction program, combined with exercises, has
been shown to be the most effective penis enlargement
method outside of surgery. You can do it in the comfort
and privacy of your own home-- and you don’t have to
do it in front of your sexual partner.

There are many devices that are available online, including
scams and legitimate products. Some products have bee shown
to be bunk products that can fracture your penis ligaments,
while some programs in particular have been proven to help
men both with penis size and sexual performance.
